What's everyone up to today? I have a nail appt during nap. I'm excited!
For dinner last night carson ate 5 chicken nuggets, corn, a little mozzerella stick, and 4 danimals shakes. And he had eaten a ton of melts before that. OMG. Maybe he will grow taller!
More party prep. I'll be happy when this damn thing is over. We've got a huge play date this afternoon, which will be good. It's been raining every day this week, so it'll be good to burn off some energy. Oh, and DH gets home tonight. I'll likely already be in bed, but it still counts as today.
Oh, and I'm calling A officially potty trained. We've now done long car trips, naps, and overnights in underwear without accident. I feel like he should get a prize, but he's already going to get so much shit tomorrow.

I'm so excited for a date night with DH! C has been asking to go to my inlaws house for awhile now, so they are watching him for a bit. We plan on telling them they have grandbaby #2 on the way. C got a sandbox with his birthday money and we are planning to stop by Lowes afterwards for sand. It's just been too rainy or everything covered with pollen to even bother. It's one of the traditional turtle sandboxes. I wonder how much sand it will need. Anyone know?
Party day! I have a Boston butt cooking for shredded pork sandwiches, and a spiderman cake to pick up.
It's only his grandparents and one aunt/uncle/cousin set but he will love it.
You said butt. Hee hee. Joshua is the same way. We are having his "party" tomorrow evening with our regular Sunday night dinner. He's having a curious George cake.

Dh said 2-3 bags, because you will lose some, but he thinks it also says on the box. Enjoy!

yard work! I'm so excited. Last year all I did was rake leaves out from flower beds and put a little mulch down because I felt like death warmed over in the first tri, had no motivation in the 2nd tri, and then winter.
So we're raking up leaves, picking up sticks ...and my parents just gave me a hedge trimmer! Watch out hedges! I am far too excited about this.
We are grocery shopping, then planning on trying to tackle these boxes that are still everywhere. I love our new house, but it is impossible to unpack with a baby that won't be put down. I want to get outside to enjoy this beautiful weather too!
klp02 do you have a ring sling, a Moby, or an ergo? Especially when he's due for a nap, Elliot passes right out and takes nice long naps if I wear him while doing housework/yardwork.

Today is the bridal shower for FSIL. K is coming with and I hope she doesn't get cranky as it will overlap with her nap time. I still don't know what I'm going to wear and hate all of my options. I'm at that awkward stage of is she pregnant? Is she just fat? We aren't telling people for 3 more weeks which is crazy because how am I already 9 weeks?
I hope everyone with parties today has a great time!!
Emerson has pictures today. The photographer asked to move it back an hour so we're going to miss her gymnastics class again. I just hope I have a happy girl for pictures.
Matilda woke wiliam at the crack of dawn then fell back asleep but he wasn't going back. Thanks matilda. Then she woke for real at 630 anyway even though she wasn't in bed until 930
My h got back from his trip last night but he is "incapacitated" (man cold) seriously contemplating divorce right now as he sleeps away groaning pitifully and I have two kids crawling all over me while I attempt to chug coffee
We have a hot date to clean and organize the garage.
E has swim and H has tennis. Other than that not much, which is nice.
Do you already have/are you adding shelving? We have a brand new one car garage, and I'm trying to figure out if it's worth putting some up before we move in two weeks so that it doesn't become the repository of crap I expect it to be.
laurack oh hell no. I feel like divorce is on the table every time my H returns from a trip too exhausted to function. I know travel is tiring, but you had a nice hotel room all to yourself for a week! No.
Today is city clean up day, and since we own both a truck and a large trailer H has been roped into helping a bunch of people haul their junk down to the drop off.
Logan and I are going grocery shopping in a bit and then hopefully we can enjoy the nice day and spend some time at the park.

Put in shelving! The previous owners of our house put an addition on and redid the kitchen, so they put the old kitchen cabinets in the garage for storage. If my husband actually used them to organize our crap, our garage would like very nice. Right now we have crap laying out all over the counters and in the corners of our garage. That's another project, maybe for a rainy day this spring.

This morning Madison has dance class. After that we are meeting my family at the cemetery and putting my mom's ashes in whatever they call it. Is it a crypt? Then buffet lunch with family. Hopefully we can get home in time for Madison's nap.

W's party is in 4 hours and it's storming. So glad I have an indoor venue, but now I'm not sure anyone will come because we are under a flood watch! I also have to go pick up the cake do we can finish decorating it. I'm going to be soaked!
