I think I'm going to try to convince Patrick to clean up a winter's worth of dog crap out in the yard today, so I can mow. We need to deal with the area that they both pee on consistently, where the grass is completely dead.
SIL/BIL, and our nephew were going to come visit this afternoon and bring dinner. Great. No problem. Now it has turned into them plus ILs. At our house. I do not want to entertain all those people. I'm exhausted and haven't showered yet. Plus, they are loud people and it's always so much stimulation when they're all together. And they're coming late afternoon which means I won't get a nap. W has been nursing practically all day. Every time I put him down he wants to nurse again. Today sucks.
Jogged to the gym pushing the new double umbrella stroller. It's not a jogging stroller obviously but it was fine for a mile each way! Of course ten min into my workout the daycare lady came and said william was freakig out and I had to leave. Oh well
Then I left william here napping and took matilda to story and craft time at the library
My husband has been in bed all day. He does seem pretty sick, he can't talk and looks terrible. I'm now freakig out that the kids are going to get sick. I cannot handle another week of william not sleeping
V and I just got done with a bday party and she's napping in the car at the supermarket. I'm so fuming mad over the work being done on my house that I don't want to go home. I just want mh to deal with it.
Last night went better than I expected. It was still shitty, but could have been worse.
My biggest worry is that Carter has lost more than a pound. He seriously does not have a pound to lose. He's been dropping in percentages steadily, but he is refusing everything. For the better part of a week, he has only eaten a couple bites of things here and there. I've tried everything. He only wants to nurse. I mean he's just sobbing on me and clawing at me. I have to nurse him more than usual so he doesn't get dehydrated while he's sick, because he won't drink water or pedialyte at all.
I didn't want to wean him until after the move because it's such an enormous change already. But I'm getting desperate here.
Last night when he was on the scale, the nurse at the ER questioned his weight (now 20.4lbs) and said, "that can't be right, can it? It should be more right?" And now I feel even more like shit. It's been a struggle to get him to eat for the past year, and now this has set him back even more.
G has always been a crappy eater and we're still <30lbs here. Our pedi suggested pediasure or adding carnation to his milk when he was about C's age for the calories/nutrients. A friend suggested mixing the pediasure with milk and he finally would drink the strawberry flavor doing that. I know supposedly they'll eat as much as they need, but it's hard having them subsist on basically air. Do you think it's a texture issue?
Ok, I'm a little worried. I had to clean a nasty nasty pull-up while we were furniture shopping today and now both DH and I have upset stomachs. Nooooooooooooooooooooooo. Too much to do this weekend!!

He's always been a crappy eater I'm sorry it's so stressful
If it makes you feel any better, Joey got 3 bunnies one year on Easter weekend. He killed the Easter Bunny, the Easter Bunny replacement and the decoy!
I don't know if he wanted to "play" with them as he tries to get all small woodland creatures. He has gotten a squirrel as it ran along the fence. I hate when he brings his treasures to me. He's up to double digits on bunnies and I think two squirrels. He tried to chipmunk once but was thwarted.
Please send him my way. I have an evil squirrel who needs "dealing with."
My BIL had the big V done on Monday and ended up having a hematoma that needed to be drained and 3 blood clots! Yikes.
I didn't tell my H any of these stories before his, lol. Thankfully he had no complications.
My BIL is currently in med school and is all know it all about medical stuff, so it's kinda comical that he was one of the 1% that had complications. He's fine, btw! Other than the fact that he has actual blue balls lol.
