I don't get Starz so I just sort of read these threads and twitter during the episode and know what's going ok. I've been ok with that except for the wedding episode and this one. It's killing me not being able to watch this! The next dvd better come out fast.

Am I the only one that is mad they left out how Jamie said he was trying to be strong and prayed to be strong enough to leave her at the stones? I don't know how I turned into such a book purist when I had never even heard of the fucking series before the show came on. But I am mad. Until Ron Moore's podcast I will stay mad. And wtf with the father Bain stuff? That's not how that went down.
It was a good episode. Next week (of course, the Lallybroch week) I won't be able to watch until Sunday.

My guess is that may show up next week since they cut pretty much immediately after she came to him not ideal but as long as it gets said I'm OK with it . Yeah the Father Bain stuff was irritatingly off.
I'm flexible, I don't mine the straying from the book a little but I don't feel like the scene at the stones was anywhere near as emotional as the book. That's my favorite part and I was disappointed. I also hated the Father Bain stuff. That doesn't make any sense and doesn't jive with his character at all.
I feel like she plays a bigger role. Jamie knows she left the ill wish and she testified against her in the trial. In the book it's more circumstantial evidence. How is Jamie going to marry her now? That all worked based on him not knowing that leg hair was a first class c u next tuesday.

I think Legwhore will still work because in the books I CANT SPOILER TAG SO DONT LOOK
It is Brianna that tells everyone at Lallybroch Legwhore was at fault and then Claire tells Jaime afterwards. So he probably didn't even see her or care that she was in the witness area.
Don't ask me why, but it never occurred to me that this week would be when Clairewould finally tell Jamie the truth/go back to the stones. I'm not sure I breathed for the last 15 minutes of the episode. I do wish it hadn't been so rushed, and hope that more of the important dialogue from the book makes an appearance in the next episode. Still, OMG, that more than made up for last week's stupidity.

NO YOU AREN'T THE ONLY ONE.
I also am hoping it's in the beginning of ep. 12.
And frankly......I think it would have been better if Jamie had seen Claire start to fade out at the stones, like in the book. Seeing is believing.

I totally agree. I was sure they would show her fade at least a tiny bit for this.

[br Ron Moore said on Twitter last night that it'd be too SciFi to see it Ns that's not the kind of show he wanted to make.
I agree. I think it showed that Jaime believed Claire without seeing it.
