All yard stuff is in our garage, tools bikes, sports equipment and our cars are all in there. I don't put paper products or sleeping bags/ jackets because I had nice eat a nice home into the middle of a bag of paper towels a while back - Ew!!
We have a backyard shed and put the water table, cozy coupe, mini picnic table etc in there. The shelves in the shed hold pool chemicals and paint etc.
The inside of our garage has built in shelves along the third car garage which hold our stuff that's organized in rubber maid containers. There's a work Bench that has tools and house stuff. We also have cabinets with cleaning stuff.
Ds bike and trike and strollers just hang out in the third car garage.
We keep all the strollers, hiking backpack, tents, camping stuff in the garage along with all outdoor toys & bikes, all outside tools & a few random pieces of furniture. I wouldn't put clothes, sleeping bags, or household things like tp. Ours is detached, too. Very old, no climate control, definitely gets mice & other creatures.
Eta: We have various hooks & brackets on one wall holding up tools, extension cords, weed wacket, even a stroller. In the back there is a huge shelf about 3' deep the width of the garage & about 5' high. It's massive and is great for storage. There are things stacked up top and stuff underneath.
We don't have a garage, but we have a basement storage space (about 15'x15') and a 12'x12' shed. The shed has a loft, and that's where we store water table, outdoor, toys etc. Shed also holds our bikes, lawn mower, H's motorcycle, compressor, large tools, pool chemicals. We keep our deep freezer, paint, gardening equipment, jogging stroller (covered with a fitted sheet) and smaller tools in the storage room. Bulk items like toilet paper go in the basement pantry.

Um, our garage is a disaster consisting of yard tools, toys, bikes, exercise equipment, etc, so I have no advice there, but I've always kept the jogging stroller folded in the back of my suv. I can still fit groceries or my 2 big dogs back there. Anything in the garage gets dusty pretty quickly and, living in the south & at the beach, yeah we have bugs

I have a 2 car garage. We only park 1 car in it. Along the top near the ceiling are wooden shelves that go along the back wall and make an L shape onto one side wall. We keep suitcases up there and the anti freeze because I am overly crazy-paranoid about DD getting into it. Also, the Christmas decorations are up there.
On one is food items: canned food, the giant thing of olive oil for refilling the container, extra pasta, extra chicken brother, so on and so forth.
The second one has house hold things that are not edible. This is where I keep the paper towels, toilet paper, second set of pots and pans, extra vases, etc.
The third one is for all non-household items. This is where I have baskets for the screw drivers, nails, hammers, but also extra cleaning supplies. The oven cleaner, the giant bottle of refillable windex, extra sun screen, etc.
Next to the stairs/door is the trash barrel and recycling bin. We also have a peg board on one wall but we don't currently use it for anything. Next to the door on the other side are the brooms, swiffer, shovel, etc.
A month ago, it was a freaking disaster. I recently cleaned it out and threw away / sold a lot of stuff and now it is really organized and I love it. I can take a picture tomorrow and post it.
I want to take a picture so you can truly understand but picture a 3 car garage. Now picture 1 car parked in it and a bunch of toys/cozy coupe/bikes, boxes, rubber containers, a spare fridge and stove, a garbage can and recycling can. That's my garage. /exit thread on garage storage.
Lol same here. One large 2 car garage and one 1 car garage yet we can still only squeeze one car in if we make and effort. We fail at garage storage.
We only have a 1 car garage so it has to be kept organized or we can't keep a car AND storage in it. And per our HOA rules 1 car has to be parked in there
Isn't anyone else terrified of spiders getting in their toilet paper?! No? Just me?
Our garage has the strollers etc. (I think they get enough use not to get too dusty or spider-prone), and camping stuff, car stuff, tools, cleaning supplies, paint, etc. Most of it is on shelves, or in big rubber totes. (Again, to keep the spiders out.) Did I mention I'm paranoid about spiders?

I just went out to the garage and had to kill a spider the size of man hand. Can you guys hear me still screaming?
Ohhhh hells no. I need that "nope nope nope" octopus gif.

Except the octopus would be as big as a spider and it would remind her of what it looked like...
I killed a big spider in my kitchen last night. Sucker had the balls to crawl up the side of my new cabinets. The part that freaks me out is I wouldn't have probably noticed it on our old, dark cabinets...what else is lurking about?
DH has spent a lot of time working on storage/organization of our garage and storage space. He used a lot of Gladiator www.gladiatorgarageworks.com products. It seemed like it took forever but I'm so glad he spent the time. We have tons of storage space now.
He also installed a pulley system in our storage area to keep some bikes and things we don't use often off the ground and give us more space.
