Every winter, I tend to gain5-8 pounds in the winter. It usually comes off by the end of summer. I need to kick start in trying to lose it. Can anyone recommend a good clean eating program?

Do you feel like you really need a program? Personally, I keep almost all processed foods out of the house & eat whole foods every day for breakfast and lunch. Then I may relax a bit for dinner but still make sure to have veggies & little processed carbs if any. A bowl of cereal (cheerios or chex, nothing too sugary) with banana or plain yogurt with fruit is a treat at night if I feel like one. Satisfies the sweet tooth but is fairly healthy. Skinnytaste & paleontologist recipes are great for tasty dinners. Drink lots of water. Make time for exercise, especially any kind of resistance training to boost metabolism, & you will see results.
DASH diet - not really a diet, just a balanced eating plan, with dietary options between 1400 and 2200 calories daily. And try to get at least 150 minutes of moderate-vigorous exercise a week. Walking 30 minutes (even broken up into two smaller walks) 5 days a week would accomplish this. Bonus points for other activities like running, cycling, swimming, zumba, etc. and/or strength training 2-3x a week.
