Who else has watched this show? Finally finished Season 1 last night and it was sooo good. I really really enjoyed it. Thanks gpw

I definitely did not see Danny's death happening that way. I kept thinking, he can't be dead, that can't be right. And now I kind of worry about how they can have a second season when the most interesting character has been killed off. But the writing on this show has been so good, I guess I have to trust that they will figure it out.
H and I keep debating, was he justified in killing him or not??
Both of the main actors on this show are just phenomenal. That scene with him sitting on the beach trying to absorb what just happened was wow.
I can't stop thinking about these characters. They really got under my skin.

So, I'm halfway through the last episode. Who was the person with the "Rayburn" shirt on when they were coming out of his house? There was a woman, remember? If they didn't address her in the last episode, I suspect she will make an appearance?

I just have to say how much this show sucked me in. holy shit. I loved all of it. The story, the acting, the writing, the scenery. It'll be hard to wait until March for the next season.
While I enjoyed FNL, I didn't realize how good of an actor Kyle Chandler was until now.
In love with Marco. mmmm.
I think Potts found young John (Danny's son) but also that he somehow knows about the murder. Either that or he knows something less disastrous and it will fool us next year.
Because John wanted to do right by everyone. He wanted to be the perfect son and the perfect brother. Notice how they all looked to him? (well, maybe except Danny) He was the "perfect" one. That's a big load to carry.
ETA: I have never watched FNL. Kyle Chandler was never really on my radar until now. I don't know if I want to watch it, either....I kind of like him at this age, if that makes sense. Maybe I'm just old, lol!

Okay I quickly scrolled through because I've been debating starting this show. I need something to watch tonight that MH hasn't expressed interest in watching (which means starting Daredevil on Netflix is out). I was thinking of trying Bloodline because if I get sucked in, it wouldn't be a lot for him to catch up on. But I was also thinking about FNL which I've never seen. Or Parenthood?

My h and I referred to Kyle Chandler as "coach" throughout the entire watching of Bloodline. Thank you FNL. And...I had no idea that Meg was Sylvia on Mad Men until after I finished Bloodline. Whoa. The character who annoyed me the most on the show was the mom. She was the worst. Obviously she had so much guilt from what happened with Danny and Sarah, but she did not handle it well.
I think John expected the body to turn up since he dressed Danny in the suit. Since it played out how he expected, save for Danny's child showing up, obviously something went wrong that we'll find out next season.
I really just want Meg and Marco to be together because then I get to see him more.
I didn't think the how of Danny's death would have gone that way. Obviously John just snapped after years of pressure and Danny's BS but I didn't think he had it in him, even after killing the guy in the hotel room with the conch.
I'll have to rewatch FNL to get more KC before next March.

This was my feeling, too. I just didn't think John could do something like that.

I didn't either. I expected Danny to die somehow, but I thought it would be the kind of thing where he had committed some terrible act of violence, or was about to hurt some member of the family and John had no choice. I didn't expect him to be straight up murdered like that. Obviously Kevin isn't the only one with rage issues.
