So D's head flopped forward on the way home. We stopped to make sure it was in correctly, and it appears that it is, at least according to the manual and Google. Is it ok that his head flops forward, or is it ok, to tilt the seat a little, as long as it it still in the blue part of the level?
some stats: rear facing, Graco 65, seatbelt installed behind the drivers side (no a LATCH in this car, '01 Hyundai Accent)
I don't know about the angle/level issue without knowing the name of the carseat (not sure what you mean by Graco 65 - the Size4Me/MySize?), but generally head flopping is only a danger in infants in typical kids (there are probably different issues with kids with special needs). Infants don't have the neck strength to get their head out of that position. With children/adults, they'll move their head if necessary.
If there is a level and an acceptable range, you can be anywhere in the range (obviously check the manual for details). For a newborn, you would be at the more reclined end of the range, and for a toddler/child, usually more upright. But either is fine as long as the manual doesn't say otherwise.
Sorry, it's the MySize. It appears we are within the acceptable range according to the manual.
