For anyone that is sad they missed out, Saks is having a Friends & Family sale (30% off FRNFAM) plus 8% back through ebates and they always have Free Shipping (FREESHIP). For little girl dresses, this makes them not much more than the Target dresses.

So I rummaged the dressing room and picked up the blue patterned shift dress, the blousy shorts in the same pattern, and the low cut floral pink top. So excited! Mad that they didn't have any shoes at all though
I refuse to believe the targets by me will be this crazy. I kind of want to go just to see...
I'm thinking  the same. Lilly Pulitzer really isn't big among younger women, in Manhattan Beach. It's a little too buttoned up for beach wear. But, you never know. It could've been a scene.Â
I was right. I went at 845 and there was basically everything left, maybe missing some sizes. But only two other women were searching the racks
There are like 100 people in front of me, and I have a 2 yo and a broken foot, so I think I am screwed. Also I look like crap and have seen like 20 people I know.
OMG Hens, you win. Wtf are you doing shopping? I am assuming that you can walk
Clearly, I am insane. I can kind of hobble in a boot thingy, but I think I overdid it. But I got a the navy eyelet tunic, another tunic, a scarf, a tunic for my mom, a beach towel for my SIL, a jumpsuit for my niece, and a straw tote. So yay!
I also got a romper that has to go back because this is the conversation that transpired when I tried it on at home and asked DH and DS1 their opinions:
DH: It is kind of cute. It's pajamas, right? Me: No, it's not pajamas. DS1: Is it a clown suit? Me: No, it is not a clown suit. DS1: Well, I wouldn't wear it in public. You kind of look like a girl clown. Why is it so colorful? And why do the shorts and the top both have those same flowers on them? Me: Because it is made for hot 18 year olds who weigh 95 lbs. DS1: Why are you wearing it then? DH (trying to salvage the situation): It is not that bad. Your legs look good.
Did I mention that some bitch ran me down trying to get to the clothes, causing me to drop my cell phone, and now it's broken? And also that it is sweet DS3's second bday, and so far he has spent it in a mob of desperate middle age women? I am really the worst, huh?

WTF is wrong with people?! You are not the worst. DS3 is too young to know he had the tragic misfortune of a birthday with a Target designer collaboration.
Ha! Of all the tragic misfortunes a kid could have, I suppose it could be worse. He got a donut with a candle when we got home.
But at one point he said "Mama" and then just looked at me with this expression that plainly said "don't think I don't know that you are insane." I think he is on to me!
Also, I saw two different people in line at 8am who have absolute GOBS of money (like people with $50M+ net worth). Why were they there? Just buy the real Lily so you can pick out what you want and get your correct size without being trampled. And then you won't have to sit at the country club sipping your club special while wearing the same cover up as 18 other women. Or least pay the markup on ebay to avoid this nonsense.
Went to my nearest Target at 9:30. It was pretty empty. There were only 2 other women perusing the Lilly racks, which had some stuff, but not a ton. I don't think my store in BFE ordered much to begin with, because the cashier said there were only 10 people waiting at opening. They had older toddler and women's clothing, some fashion accessories, housewares, beach accessories, and phone covers.
I got the following for DD1: - pink & white and blue & white shift dresses - white shirt with pink and gold design - 2 maxi dresses - romper
For myself: - basic blue flip flops - light blue scarf - white lace top
I was on the fence about one of the big beach bags. For some reason it just wouldn't ring up though, even though a manager tried, so I took it as a sign it wasn't meant to be mine - lol.
Just went to Target (nothing there lol but I was there for pouches) and some woman was parading around in one of the jumpsuits. I debated taking a picture. Who does that?

The workers at a target near me said there was a line of 100 people before the store opened and they sold put in minutes. Booo. Thats what i get for heading there at 11am thinking there would still be stuff.

I just went to my target and they had nothing left. But there was a lady with her two daughters decked out in the green patterned jumpsuits and I was annoyed too!!
ND nice made my Lilly shopping pretty easy. There was a mob in the women's section, but I was able to grab a few pieces.
I went to the toddler section about 5 minutes after the store opened and there was one other mom there- everyone was respectful and got what they wanted without drama.
I bought 2 identical sun hats (matching for my twins) and the guy checking me out said that technically he wasn't supposed to sell 2 identical items to one person, but he let me buy both anyway.
H was along and saw a lady grab every available scarf off the rack. It would be interesting to have sent her experience at check out.
skib, they didn't get everything out at mine and I suspect that's where the sandals were. I want them!! Will hit up another one tomorrow.
What size does your DD wear? I ordered size 12 and 13 because my DD is kind of in-between, so if either of those would work for you, I'd be glad to sell the one that doesn't work for us.
Thanks but I need a toddler 6 or 7. I did see they're online only later today
Did anyone who ordered online receive shipping confirmations yet? I've received them for all the home goods but no clothing yet.
same, i got my home goods but no clothing shipping. please don't cancel on me, target!
My online clothing orders have gradually been shipping this morning - I've gotten emails about 2 of 3 orders so far. I used the app and something totally screwed up and ordered multiples of some things, so I'll probably post here about those eventually...
I haven't gotten an email about my order yet, it's still says "processing." I placed my order at about 8am so not holding my breath on it going through.
