I need to start this because I'm bored! I'm lying in bed while DH is still asleep and DS is stirring, but not ready to get up yet.
I am ready to checkout with my Cora's Cuties order but my wallet with credit card info is downstairs. We had a packed day yesterday so we will be at home more today. Preschool told us there is a fair and there will be free OT evaluations at this place near us, so I think we will try to spend some time there. Other than that, just stuff around the house. Laundry, dishes, and hopefully hanging some stuff on the walls!!
Night 2 of CIO. DD cried on and off for 20 minutes at bedtime (7:15). Fussed for about 10 minutes around 8:30. Then...she STTN! 5:40 and she's still sleeping! Not sure why I'm awake, but oh well.
C is just started sitting up in his crib in the middle of the night, and he can't figure out how to lay himself back down. He can lay back down anywhere else, but in his crib he suddenly forgets. Last night we were watching on he monitor as he fell back asleep sitting up then fell forward right onto his face, without waking up. It was hilarious.
I am up....was about to go for a run but stepped outside and it was raining. Now it's actually pouring and thundering, so I'm glad I didn't go. H is asleep, and C is stirring.....
P had a rough night. Thankfully H got up with him at 5:30 so I could get an hour of uninterrupted sleep. I'm about to go get C. Maybe we will make chocolate chip pancakes.
I am more excited for Medela stuff on Zulily today than the Lilly Pulitzer for Target stuff. Buy all the pump parts!
I have a crazy coupon haul planned for CVS today. My life is so exciting.
My girls were pretty well-behaved at the funeral. Giving them suckers worked- although the grocery store didn't have any regular suckers so they got push pops that were like miniature light sabers.
The church (small country church) was completely packed- I was shocked, because at 93 most of her friends are long gone, but the distant relatives came out in droves. Most Sunday's there are only 15-20 people in attendance, so she would have loved seeing the church so full again.
Feeding M cottage cheese and catching up on my the Lilly thread. Strong work, @this et al.
I have had various incarnations of a cold for like a month now. I am so over it. Our neighbor's baby is a month old and I haven't even been able to visit yet!
At this point I think I'm going to be sick until I can catch up on sleep when the semester ends. Luckily that's in two weeks!

The Ferber method was great for us. Night one was absolutely awful, nights 2-4 were a little better, and since then he rarely wakes up more than once. In the past couple of weeks he's been STTN about half the time! (heart)
Went to Mommy Con yesterday and I enjoyed it despite not BFing or CDing! Although I might look into CDing more. I'm starting to be convinced but I'm still iffy on it, lol. Maybe if I win a starter kit I'll try it out and see!
I'm really excited about my purchase yesterday! I got the new Moby Aria carrier. It's awesome! I want to go somewhere today just to use it, lol. One of the snaps on the extended head rest is cracked though so I need to contact them and see if they'll replace it for me. At least I don't need that piece yet. I can't wait to use it more!
I'm debating whether I should take DS to the baby play group this morning or not. It's cool & rainy here and I think he's finally getting over his cold. I think typing it out just made my decision! No!
I want to participate in more things, but 9:45 on a Sunday isn't the best time for us. I love being lazy on Sunday mornings and I hate the thought of rustling my child out of bed. (Yes, I have one of those rare late sleepers!). Plus, he's barely 1, he isn't bonding with anyone just yet.
Un-freakin-believable. DD slept from 10:45-8! Unbelievable. I heard DH get up with DS at 6:45, and I apparently fell back asleep until DD woke at 8. I can't believe a 5 week old slept that long. She was so hungry when she woke up that she was desperately trying to eat DH's arm while he changed her.
We're spreading DH's grandparents ashes in our backyard in a few minutes. That was their wishes. I've never done this before and I'm not sure how. Should I put on nice clothes? Think of something to say?

If you weren't really close to them, I think it's fine to let your DH handle the "saying something nice." I wouldn't wear pajamas but I don't think you need to dress up necessarily.

DS1 pooped on the potty!! Yay! Two weeks in and he's mastered pee.... But we have been struggling with poop. This is a huge milestone for him! I'm so proud of him.
DS2 threw up this morning, not sure why. Just BM. Normal temp and he's in a great mood. Maybe it just went down the wrong pipe?
You win some, you lose some. LOL!
Our in-law suite bathroom has a leak coming from the floor. I'm 99% positive that when we had some pipes burst this winter, theirs did too, but we haven't used the shower until yesterday. Sigh.
Going to call the plumber tomorrow. Thankfully, mom can just use our bathroom in the meantime. Otherwise, should be a nice day with a trip to the park.
We have to start getting ready soon for spending all day at the IL's house for a huge extended family late Easter celebration. DS2 slept like crap last night and most likely won't get a nap today, so that will be fun.
And DH and i still need to pack for our Vegas trip (we leave tomorrow) and I have to get the kids and dogs stuff ready too.
Driving home from my parents. Hope the drive with M goes as well as on the way there. Not sure we will get that lucky.
Hope to get a good workout in while he naps to try and counter all the crap I ate yesterday. My legs are still sore from the leg workout I did in Thursday. Then just getting ready for my trip next week which I am so unprepared for- so many meetings, so much work crap to do. But I will get to see my good friend for dinner one night so super excited.
Ending the weekend with dinner with pippa and family. Pretty good weekend!!

I want to "like" this because it's beautiful, though I'm so sorry for your loss.

DS received this gift last week (He is 15 mo.). He loves it! The animals are washable and crazy soft. I've never seen it before so I'm thinking it is a fairly unique gift for all those who always ask what to buy a 1 yr old for their bday. I highly recommend it.
in other news, it has been raining for.ev.er here and I'm so sick of it. At least we have lots of little stuffed animals to play with, lol.
Having a very lazy day. I took a two hour nap and now DS is napping. I still need to figure out dinner for tonight with leonard131 and her family. Looking forward to getting together!
@simpledog ugh I just dealt with the same thing 49 day cycle with an IUD. Mostly annoying since we plan to TTC in June and non-wonky cycles would be nice!
I am slightly hungover. We're driving home from the lake today which always makes me crabby. After about 3 hours I get pissed at my H that we haven't moved closer get, lol!
