Unfortunately there are so many scam/counterfeit sites out there for "designer" merch. The only time I would buy something high end is from the brand directly or a legit consignment shop who has verified authenticity. Too good to be true and all that

It is. There's a local shop that gets a ton of real ones worn once or twice here. If they don't get legit stuff, their reputation would ruined. I can PM you their info if you'd like. They probably are stocked right now. Keep the gold one if you can.

I can see you really really want an Herve Leger dress for cheap (ebay thread, now this), but if you really want to support the brand/designer, you may want to wait and save for the real thing, sell your awesome gold one, or look for an HL outlet store nearby.

If you don't care about supporting the brand, there are SO MANY options of similar style bandage dresses out there that are at more reasonable prices.
