We have mostly hand-me-downs, flea market finds, Crate and Barrel, Pier 1, and Pottery Barn.
Our master bedroom set is from PB, quite dark and hefty. Since we moved to an older home with a smaller master bedroom, it really doesn't work anymore. But it's the most expensive set to replace.
I vow to never buy another piece of furniture with dark brown stain.
The greatest number of pieces in my house comes from Ikea. But Room & Board has the largest quantity of my money.
Small nods to Pottery Barn and Crate & Barrel, a couple thrift pieces.
ETA: No regrets. We save up for pieces we really liked and live with stuff to fill the space/function in the interim for ages. See, e.g., 11 year old Ikea dining set still inhabiting my dining room. Once O moves downstairs and we move our office upstairs, I might come to regret our giant pottery barn desks since the office upstairs is too small/narrow for them. But that's years from now.
Oh, and we have not a single hand me down/free secondhand piece because we live too far away from family for that to be financially or logistically feasible.
Also, because my mom really REALLY likes to decorate like the love child of Paul Revere and Laura Ashley and, just, no.
Lots of random used stuff from antiques stores, Ebay, and Craigslist. And then a bunch of stuff from Ikea, too. A few random pieces order from places like Overstock and Target.
A mix of places - Crate and Barrel, Restoration Hardware, Ikea, Target. Our sofas came from a local place that makes them to order.
My only regret is that we don't have a sectional instead of a love seat and sofa set. But that's because we bought our sofas when we lived an apt, and knew that the configuration might not work when we bought a house (we were right, it wouldn't have).

I had a lot of Ashley Furniture in the first house we owned- it was alright, but we were way too tough on the veneers. When we moved, I only wanted to purchase hard wood furniture - we found a beautiful chair set and bedroom set at Homeworld that was all wood, but ended up building our own dining room table, coffee table, end tables, and media center for lack of finding anything that was not veneers and partical board.
Mostly hand me downs or thrifted and refinished. I bought two sets of furniture items as an adult. a dining room set from Montgomery Wards (which I had to sell when I moved to a tiny apartment on the coast) and my bedroom set from Bombay Company.
CB2. Ikea. Crate and Barrel. World Market. Target. Vintage Stores. Thrift shops. Garage Sales.
No regrets. Except that little ottoman that I put out in the curb, that I got for $2 at St. Vincent de Paul in Madison, and I had all throughout grad school - I thought that it wasn't going to be worth bringing over (moving always makes me purge insanely), and then I realized I was stupid because it was such a small ottoman, it wouldn't have taken up that much space, and I realized that 2 minutes after I returned to my home after putting it outside in the curb. I turned around, went to get it, and it was GONE already. It couldn't have been outside for more than 15 mins.
I still miss that ratty little ottoman. It was such a great little piece.

The only piece that was purchased new was my dining table. The rest was used and/or given to us. The baby is getting new stuff as a gift. DD has an antique set given to us by my aunt.

A mix of Macy's, West Elm, IKEA, and Amish furniture builders. I like our stuff from the Amish the best - it will outlive us, that's for sure. I've joked to my H right before we pass I think our family will come in and start putting Post-its on the wood furniture. LOL.
My only regrets have to do with my indecisiveness and idiotic mistakes. Like ordering the curtains too short for the living room. I also ordered an office chair and martini table for when I thought it was going to be more like an office, but has become a living room. Expensive mistakes.
Craigslist or antique stores. DH and I were trying to think of the last time we bought furniture that wasn't second hand in some way and we couldn't. The only thing I can think of is our desk chair?
eta- and no I don't regret any of it because we always get a good price. And when I get tired of things I just resell them on CL lol
Most of our furniture was a bulk buy from a guy who bought it 2 weeks before he had to up and move to California to take care of his mom. It was from Rooms-to-Go.
Our new living room set is from Ashley. Oh, I think M's furniture is all Ashley too, but we got it on craigslist.
And then we have a couple of end tables from Walmart in the guest room.
Yard sales, hand-me-downs, curb-side rescues. We haven't ever purchased furniture new. Everything gets reupholstered and/or refinished My mom is really talented at refinishing furniture, and I know enough to do some of the less complicated things.
ETA: Except mattresses. No used mattresses.
This reminds me, my mom has four dining chairs that she's ready to throw out, but I think they'd be nice if reupholstered. Meanwhile, our four arrowback chairs are falling apart and need replacements. *light bulb*
We've recently purchased most of our furniture from Ikea and Dania (we're currently renovating the whole first floor of our house). We have some smaller pieces from Target.
We also have some antiques-- my grandmother's desk from when she was a little girl, my mom's dresser and bedside table, and my great-grandmother's buffet. They've all been well-kept and are in great shape.
Dining furniture - some random brand which is available on Amazon, nothing fancy, and not well-known (Holly & Martin) - chairs are from our old Target table - hutch is from Amazon
Living room furniture - couch and love seat are Raymour and Flanigan - bookcases are Ikea - end table is an antique - can't remember the story behind our media cabinet
Master Bedroom - bed is from Macy's - dressers, etc., were passed down from DH's grandparents (modern looking antiques) - lamps are from an online light fixture company
DS's bedroom - mix of Ikea (dresser), Graco (crib), and a leather armchair from a furniture store, Moroccan pouf from an Amazon 3rd party seller, and décor is mostly Land of Nod
Guest room - local furniture store (bed) - Ikea (bookcase) - and a tall bookcase my father built
Office - desk was probably purchased from Staples - love seat is Ethan Allen (I hate it) - media stand is from Amazon
Patio / deck furniture - Amazon and 3rd party Amazon sellers (eucalyptus wood)

Almost everything is thrift, curb, antique mall, or hand-me-down with some Ikea sprinkled in. The exception is couches and mattresses. I don't mess around with used there. Our couches are from Macy's.

My bed and both couch sets are from local furniture stores, dining set bought off craigslist, bar stools from Garden Ridge, and 1 living room table set was my parents from when I was little. Besides that, I think everything else is IKEA.
Duh, I forgot the little guy's room. We got DS' crib and nursing chair from ikea. While there I was also eyeing the turquois blue cart, but we did not buy it then. For weeks afterwards I could not get it out of my mind. I've never been obsessed with a piece of home accessory like this before. Finally I made DH go to ikea with me again, and this time we picked up TWO blue raskog carts. One is in the kitchen and one holds DS' toys. They say you can't buy happiness, but these carts come pretty close.
