My problem is that Jack DOESN'T find it, so I end up moving furniture to try to find it all.
We've found pieces of apple/pear/fruit we give them whole beyond the gate that is set up around the TV. Because they hang on it and leeeaannn and eat like little James Deans. Except they're 3 so they're messy and don't notice when 1/3 of their apple falls away.
But if they drop Lightning McQueen down there, or Dusty Crophopper??? Good lord, I never hear the end of it.
lol. my kid hides her snacks. last week I found two moldy strawberries at the bottom of her toy bin and a chicken nugget in my diaper bag. When is say "F, did you put a strawberry in your toy bin?" she looks confused "I no no mama."
This is why my dog is fat. She finds stuff before. My younger one stashes snacks in the singing picnic basket from FP. After her birthday party last year I found old pepperoni and cheese.

I found a stale roll in my purse yesterday. It's nice to not be alone.

I babysat my 3yo nephew like a month ago.
We are still finding things in strange places.
I'm now trying to figure out if he hid things there of if the cats found the food and played with it like a dead mouse and transported it to even stranger locations.
I fed DS2 a piece of cheese that fell out of his coat pocket. He found it in there while I was driving and didn't understand why he couldn't eat it.
My kids aren't typically food-losers, either. They are both rather sturdy. But apparently, they also have low standards and have no problem eating pocket cheese.
Yep. My kids know that if they set their food down it isn't their food anymore. It just becomes a different kind of problem though. We hear daily "MAAAAAA MAAAAAA!!!! STELLA ATE MY COOOOOOOKIEEEEEEE!! MAAAAA MAAAAAA!!!! MAKE STELLA GO LIE DOWN!!!!! BAD STELLA!!!!
9 times out of 10 she gave the cookie to Stella but then wanted it back.
Once I found a sippy cup that had been lost for MONTHS. I think it had milk in it when it was lost. It looked like diarrhea when I found it. I'm still shuddering thinking about it and it was years ago.
