I failed so hard last night. I got to PetSmart to pick Abby up from day camp and she wasn't there!!! Apparently STBXH has Mondays off, which I completely forgot about. Sigh...
Going into work an hour early today, there are a ton of stuff I have to ship today. Woke up at 3 and have been up since. Today might a little long.
Not much on the agenda today. Work. Go home, watch DWTS and Castle and then just hang with D. We are supposed to be going out to dinner the MIL and her H. I am not really looking forward to it...nbd.
Looking forward to scrapping this weekend with my aunt, going to put some wedding stuff of mine in a scrapbook instead of it still sitting in our card box.

I got to work by 6:30 this morning to get stuff done in preparation for being out the rest of the week.
Lucy is doing SO much better. We got her a shot for the pain and some pain meds. The vet wasn't 100% sure what was going on, but if it continues, we'll get x-rays done. She seemed a lot more like herself yesterday before H took her in so he doubted taking her in, but I figured it was better to be safe than sorry. All of her vitals were fine and some of the bending the vet did with her didn't bother her at all, so those are all good signs.
I haven't heard about the 2nd round interview yet. Fingers crossed they reach out soon.
Regular day at work. Dinner at my parents house tonight. Hitting up the gym after work. I've decided window shopping is my favorite form of workout. Last night, met my BFF for Din Tai Fung, followed by lots of window shopping, then some Molly Moons and a little more window shopping.

Not sure if Sadie is better or not. She's had less bathroom issues - more spaced out, so I hope so. I left her today, but covered the floor of the room she's in with towels just in case. I'm hoping she's better and that we won't come home to mess. James thinks he'll be able to get off early-ish so he can check on her.
Nothing else going on. Tman has piano after school and a cub scout meeting tonight. If James gets off early, he will take Tman to piano and I will get an extra hour or two at work. That would be nice.

Oh, I forgot. I finally got my pay check yesterday. Man, when I become an employee, that is going to be the best part - getting paid on a pay day and having it directly depositted.

I'm still tired though I went to bed way earlier than I usually do last night.
Just another day at the office today. I'm in event planning mode, signing contracts for our Christmas Party in Seattle. Setting up a happy hour in Portland and a lunch at Purple in Bellevue. Only thing I hate about days like today is I don't get to go to the event and I always get hungry looking at menus.
My stupid cat decided she NEEDED to get inside a plastic shopping bag that was sitting on my dresser at 5 AM. So I'm a little sleepy since I couldn't get back to sleep after her cat antics. Plus I had a 7:30 board meeting.
H and I are in decision making mode for materials/colors for our various house projects. We are updating all the surfaces in our master bath. We are also updating all the hardware including the faucets for the two sinks, tub and shower. Updating all the towel racks, rings, etc. We are getting new carpet for the whole upstairs. And we are also upgrading the floor and counter materials in Em's bath. Plus we are painting our bath, her bath, and creating her new "big girl" bedroom our of our crappy (catch all) guest room which involves more painting and purchasing of new furniture. Soooo many choices. So many compromises. So much $$$ to spend. Sign. I really want a new tub for us but it sounds like it will be way too much for our budget. Bummer. Ours is fine but it's just kind of dated and the motor for the jets is broken and I don't even like tubs with jets b/c they get all yucky inside and are hard to clean. I just want a normal soaking tub.
I felt like a hose beast yesterday. Got to ILs after work for a visit and H was there and irrationally it irritated the crap out of me. For 2 days I'd been saying I was going to visit on Monday and he didn't mention ONCE that he was going, too. I was looking forward to spending a little time with them by myself. So I felt pissy at H and then later felt like a hose beast because its HIS dad. I started sneezing but passed it off to allergies but this morning it feels less like allergies and more like the start of a head cold. If its a head cold, I'm going to be beyond pissed and dESTROY whoever gave it to me!! Because I will NOT go make ILs sick at this point in time I may have to get a hospital face mask or something so I can visit them if its a cold. I'm also super-PMSy. I'm up 2 more chub pounds to my heaviest, I'm hungry and can't stop eating. Sigh. I'm still a hose beast I guess. H has a work thing tonight and I have PT.

For my DD's bedroom, we're doing THIS bed since it works perfectly for her when she has friends over, but doesn't always take up space. Plus, the drawers are bonus storage. Highly recommend it!

Morning! I did not sleep well last night - kept waking up confused where I was. But the bright sunshine this morning got me up early for a run before work. Where I promptly tripped and almost fell (luckily caught myself), and tweaked my back a bit. Then I got home, put sugar in my coffee cup, and filled it with milk but no coffee.
Normal work day, then E has piano. After her lesson I'm going out for Indian food with two good friends. I was hoping the weather would hold so we could walk down but doesn't look likely.
Good morning all. It's almost shaping up to be yet another Monday #2 but I am trying to stay positive. We were 15 minutes from leaving to go to story time at the library and I hurt my back wrestling with the crib mattress to put a new sheet on. So I bribed M to stay home by letting her watch a movie. I'm pretty excited she chose Tangled instead of Frozen
Also apparently Big Red Hound had an allergic reaction last night to something she found in the yard before bed. She was up all night shifting around and itching and I couldn't figure it out until this morning when I saw the bumps on her. I should have known but she is good now at least. Now to get that sleep back that I lost listening to her all night.
Man rough start to the work week for this crowd- @ivankitteh I hope you don't have a cold, and you are just having a hangry week... I get those, feel better!
Got yelled at this morning and micromanaged to an inch of my sanity.
We are waiting to hear some possible quotes from builders so we can make a go/no go decision on the house. The walls of the apartment are closing in ...

my post was going to be that EVERYONE AROUND ME in my cubicle space is doing this. seriously, they are all sneezing and saying "oh, those allergies" these do not sound like allergies and when it gets progressively worse AND you've been taking allergy medicine... it's not allergies, lol. FTR I do this too in my mind hoping it's not a cold, but it almost always is

All of your other projects sound exciting!
I had something like this growing up & it was awesome. I also really like the IKEA one. I've had my eye in it for a while.
Job just announced taking applications for tons of internal promotions. I'm officially not taking the job they offered, but may get promoted to a different into instead.
The guy was hanging out with is maybe back in the picture...we'll see.
Going to be OOT all weekend for my sister'so wedding, so need to get all packed & ready so we can leave Thur night.

To be fair, it has been allergies as its been a bad season for me. But yesterday afternoon I started sneezing and I don't sneeze with allergies usually. FWIW, I stupidly went to the mall on Saturday and I'm sure that's where I picked it up, sigh.

I think we are settled on a single over double bunk bed because Em's two cousins live right up the street and I foresee many sleep overs in our future. I'm refinishing a solid wood dresser in a white shabby chic style with new glass pulls. Her walls will be a muted turquoise and we're doing peach tones for the textiles. We went really really simple and clean for her nursery so I want to have fun with the colors and decor in her big girl room. It's a large room....12 x 16 so I intend for it to contain most of her toys. It should be plenty of room for a bedroom and play room.
