I swallowed one of the bumps when eating after taking a bite of something hard. So be very careful! How many trays are they estimating for you? I had 20 trays and after the first 4 trays were done, the bumps came off.

I had 22 trays (bottom only). I had two "bumps", both of which stayed on until the bitter end. I did get used to them eventually.

Don't be scared! Invisalign has pros and cons just like traditional braces. I decided to go with Invisalign because I was afraid of having metal braces and trying to get a professional job. Even with the bumps, different trays and lisp I developed, no one could tell I had them in unless they were looking very closely.
