UPDATE: Her owner just picked her up! They are currently building a fence and think the invisible fence may have gotten damaged during installation. But now we know where she belongs in case we see her loose again. ________________________________________________________
She was running around our neighborhood. No tags but has a choke collar and an invisible collar on so I am sure she blew through her fence. Vet is closed so we can't check to see if she has a chip.
Our two are VERY unhappy about having another dog in the house and this poor pup is crying from the crate we put her in to keep them separated. We posted to our neighborhood association website and sent an email to our neighborhood association president to send to the distro list.
We wandered around the neighborhood checking with people to see if anyone knows this pup and nothing.
Invisible Fence doesn't always work. We had a suit where a dog was being harassed by neighborhood boys; he broke through an IF and mauled a little boy walking down the street. Poor kid lost an ear and had 100+ stitches all across his face. I'm not a huge fan. It's great to not see a fence, but I don't trust them to work, especially with larger or more excitable dogs.
About the choke collar: some people just don't get it.

I personally hate IFs. I don't trust them. And I hate chock collars too.
But not my dog and nothing I can do about it. At least they are building a real fence.

Glad she went home! I also hate the invisible fences. They seem cruel and the only one in my neighborhood is a dog that barks constantly and paces. He seems miserable and on edge.
