So my boss said there was a man peeing in the bushes right outside of my office.
I heard through the grapevine WAY before my boss told me yesterday that census dropped HUGE over the weekend. That means a heck of a lot for staffing if you are in the medical world. All I want now is a nap....so tired. LOL
H is on his way home from a business trip now. I told him to bring me back a bacon turkey bravo sandwich from Panera. I'm really looking forward to it.
I've never been to Panera. Stupid Canada! Or maybe just my area, I dunno.
I'm leaving next Tuesday for a wedding 6 hours away and I haven't gotten my bridesmaids dress altered yet 100% my own fault, but now I'm freaking out because it needs to be done! Finding someone to do it is my task of the day.
Lol, some of my coworkers peed in the bushes outside of our office after one particularly rowdy evening. We keep it classy. There's another story behind that, but it's more of a you had to be there story.
I took my rings off on Monday to make meatloaf and I keep forgetting to put them back on. I'm annoyed that my finger is "naked"

I got an email Sunday night regarding the job I interviewed for saying they would like me to come to campus for the final round. I was asked my availability for Tues/Wed/Thurs next week. I responded later that night. It's now Wed and I haven't heard anything back. What the heck? I know it's not until next week but I have a crazy schedule the next week and a half coming up and I'd really like to be able to make plans for this. I don't want to be annoying but I figure if I don't hear anything by tomorrow morning I'll follow up.

Your recruiter needs to get on the ball.....
FTR, I would have called you already
Also, major win on your RE update
Yeah there's no recruiter, I've been contacted each time directly by the asst dean for the dept. Apparently she's not very good at the hiring process

I'm loving this new life of mine (where C actually sleeps and I have time to get stuff done)! Yesterday I worked on my mom's scrapbook for Mother's Day. So far today I have cleaned the downstairs bathroom, took the trash out, started a load of laundry, went for a run with C, took a shower, enjoyed two cups of coffee without distraction, made some breakfast, straightened my hair, talked to my mom, paid our phone bill, and goofed around on the internet! Next up is feeding C again (when he wakes up), playing with him, finishing laundry, taking a nap when he naps next, cooking dinner, and maybe more scrapbooking before DH gets home! Feeling more and more like me again!
Speaking of...I had an appointment with a PCP yesterday...totally not impressed with her (first time seeing her). I brought up PPD and she didn't even ask follow-up questions, inquire more, etc. Won't be going back to her again. I do think things will be better now that DH and I aren't fighting all the time and C is sleeping better but still...that's not something to mess with! Oh, and apparently my thyroid is high again and my bilirubin is too (not sure why this is but it's got me scared considering all my mom is going through). I did google and it said that excessive exercise can cause it to be elevated...I'm going with the assumption that walking, rocking, bouncing, etc C for the past 4 months is considered "excessive exercise" and that's the culprit!
I've been so busy lately. We have a supervisor at work who is getting on my nerves. I don't know it's because I didn't sleep last night or what. Luckily he hasn't been here all day but should be back in a few hours.

I may beat my H I discovered that we are having issues with our HOT water in our bath tub. That is the only place it is problem. Dishes laundry bathroom sink all that stuff is fine. My tub, if I turn on the hot water full blast it only comes out a trickle. I asked DH to call LL yesterday. He did no big deal what ever. Fast forward I asked him today if LL was coming by to have a look this evening. NOPE. Not the LL's fault either. Evidently LL's wife is oot and he is stuck with his 2 kids by himself all week. He even offered to try and find a sitter if the problem was really bad. DH is all Breezy and tells him it's not a big deal He can come over Friday to have a look. So After my Freezing cold shower this morning. I may call my LL to see if he can find that sitter. Seriously barley any hot water to bathe in and you're all Cool no big deal? WTF DH.
My grandma isn't feeling well. Enough so that mom asked if she should go to the hospital. Mainly because my mom is afraid of her getting dehydrated again. It's been just over a year since her last hospital stay.
My mom just called me and said she called the ambulance to take my grandma to the hospital to get checked out. She hasn't been feeling herself the past couple days. Tired and whatnot. Even pulled out her walker earlier this morning. Mom said that she had a hard time getting my grandma up just to go to the bathroom.
About a year ago she was admitted for chest pains, ended up dehydrated, and got a pace maker before it was all said and done. She's been doing pretty good but has had crazy amounts of stress lately.

Woooo lots of folks on call.
I'm tired and it's only day 1 of my car seat tech class. Sweaty and sunburnt. I'm a lovely sight. I'm not looking forward to our checkup event on Saturday (100+ cars expected).
thanks! I met with a PP doula who showed me how to sleep train him...basically I started letting him cry and learn to self soothe himself. I would go in at 5 and then 10 min intervals until he put himself to sleep, each interval providing less soothing. It took 1 hr the first two night bit he got naps right away and now bedtime is about 20 min of fussing before he sleeps. I feed him before bed (around 7, down at 7:30) and again at 10:30. I've actually had to wake him up the past two not mornings at 7:30. He wakes up at night but puts himself back to sleep! I only had to go in at 3 am to give him his paci, pat his stomach, and tell him it's nite nite time...went right to sleep!
