July! Needed summer date, had wanted June. Date got stolen out from us- but was a good thing because that night the tornado sirens went off during what would have been our reception time! H kinda wishes we had made June work because then it would have been May (my bday), June (wedding), July (his bday) to split up the celebrations a little more. The anniversary and his bday are 9 days apart.
grover - That's funny, we were the opposite. We originally wanted to get married in July but made the change to June because the July weekend was already booked for our venue.
September 16th It was a beautiful day for an out door wedding. I was so worried because it was kind of chilly and overcast that morning. It was warm and sunny buy the time our ceremony rolled around.

My H's birthday and our anniversary are 8 days apart! That makes it hard to shop for gifts. Originally I was planning on September, but all the halls were booked up in the fall, so we had to do June or July. August here is really humid and I didn't want that. H's cousin was getting married in July, so we chose June to avoid having them too close.

My H's birthday and our anniversary are 4 days apart, lol. My birthday is March 1, his is March 19, our anniversary is March 23 I really wanted June, but at the venue we wanted, it was cheapest in Jan, Feb and March. I figured the end of March had the most potential for good weather, and the very last weekend that year was Easter, so the 23rd worked!

All of you people who had summer weddings, I bow down to you - I would have been a sweaty, gross mess.
I picked Oct because I love love love fall. Of course on our wedding day it was like winter - cold and even a little snow but not in a nice/pretty way, in a "this is going to turn to rain and make everything a mess" way. If I wanted that weather I could have gotten married in the winter and paid a lot less! Oh well, still a great day.

I had no choice. It was either summer so we could have our honeymoon right away or during the school year with no honeymoon (H can't take vacation time in December and as a teacher I couldn't take off a week and a half). Thank goodness for air conditioning! (We were only outside for a few pictures, but it wasn't too bad for July.)

Also not much choice. I had it as early as I could manage... 8 days after graduation. It was still hotter than hades.
Fall is not my favorite weather, and Aggies who get married in the fall are generally ostracized.

See, June isn't really considered summer in Oregon because you're lucky if you can get more than a few days without rain before July 4th. Which, you know, H and I managed to completely forget about when we decided on a June 11th outdoor wedding.
We got so, incredibly, ridiculously lucky. It rained every day for three weeks leading up to it, on our wedding day the sun came out and it was a comfortable probably 65 or so degrees, and then the next day it started raining again and didn't stop for another two weeks.
