I tried it for two months. I didn't keep any of the items because even though I liked some of them, my cheap ass couldn't justify spending $65.00 on a shirt. It was super fun to see what came, though.

I've used it for 3 months now and have liked it. You have lots of opportunities to give feedback and they do pay attention, especially if you have a pinterest board. I used it as a way to find pieces that aren't black/other boring colors that currently comprise 90% of my wardrobe. I have kept one piece of each fix, and have liked other but didn't want to spend the money. My favorite part is they send you different looks to use for each piece, helps figure out how to style things.
I've been using it for a couple years but haven't had much luck. I think because I have a super long torso and am hard to fit. But I keep trying. www.stitchfix.com/referral/3058812
I started using Le Tote a few months ago and really like it. It's like Netflix for clothes with the option to buy and I think it's a lot of fun! letote.com/r/FAEF48
I tried it and wasn't too impressed. maybe if you use it regularly you would be able to customize things a bit more and have your shopper(s) get a better feel of what you like. I prefer to just shop on my own.

I think there's a set of circumstances where they can really be awesome for people. They do really listen on style and price. And they charge you $20 per "fix" that applies to the clothes you buy. Makes you pull the trigger on that $38 item you like and goes with your wardrobe. For me, this is a nice perk. I hang it up and then see it some morning I decide I hate everything else. I love the frequent refresh of my classic pieces. I get a fix every 3 weeks and keep at least one thing. Twice I've kept everything - which saves you some % of the (admittedly probably marked-up) total tab.
I also have ZERO time to shop, and hate to shop anyway. I have kind of an aversion to all the choices in a retail place. That makes me weird I know. But I really do better with a few items, just a yes or a no. Yeses to the closet, no's in a shipping envelope.
I did it once, and set it so I only get fixes when I ask for them. I was really specific about what I wanted/would use it for, and my style choices, and they did a great job. I sent back jeans and one shirt, but I wasn't holding my breath that randomly picked jeans would fit me anyways. I kept a really cool necklace that I wear all the time, but would probably walk right by in the store because it's a little out of my norm. Ditto for the two sweaters I kept, which can be layered together, or with other things I already have.
The prices were reasonable, IMO. I said to go cheap on accessories, and that I was willing to spend a little more on more classic pieces. I think the sweaters were around $48 and $68 (one was thinner, and one was a heavier layering cardigan) and the necklace was maybe $30. I don't know how they are for more professional wear, since I only asked for items that were pretty casual.
I'll probably order another fix soon once the weather warms to try out some new sun dresses. Aside from a swing through the clothes section at Target on my way to buy Cheerios, I don't have time to shop frequently, and I always find myself picking the same thing over and over, so this is perfect for a few new things, maybe that I wouldn't necessarily choose to try on by myself, now and then.
I have a fix coming next week and I'm very hopeful. I switched stylists and it's actually someone in my neighborhood and she's asked a lot of questions and I think she gets my style. I really hope it works!
