How's it going lately? Have you been sticking to your planned work outs? Terrible. I have been a H&F trainwreck. I'm managing to work out like once a week, and last Saturday I did a dog/human 5k fun run and came in at like 30:06. And was sore for 2 days after! Where is the person who did a 1:55 HM six months ago!? I hardly recognize myself.
What your biggest challenge right now? For a long time it was lack of energy. Now I think that's starting to come back, but I'm suffering from lack of routine. I hit 10 weeks this weekend, which I feel like is early to start feeling better, but 7 weeks was really my rock bottom in terms of exhaustion and nausea. I'm looking into a prenatal yoga class that starts on 5/12, because I want to have some active commitments on my calendar.
Anything to AW? NOPE. Although -- is 10 weeks early for this too? -- my clothes are already not fitting. I have only gained 2-3 lbs., but I had to put away a bunch of work pants. I have a legit gut all of a sudden; it is not cute! Fortunately I have a stash of next-size-up work pants from several years ago, when I hit my weight high water mark before plunging into triathlon, but I think I need to buy some bigger size bike shorts and running stuff. Dresses are my friends at work. Not a surprise, but a surprise to me to happen so soon.
If you workout with music, what are your favorites right now? I watch TV while riding my bike on the trainer instead. You know, when I actually do it!
Well, I did not get the ok to run. So I'll be starting over from scratch in that area next year. But I'm strangely ok with that right now.
Last week I was so sick. Stomach bug followed by a nasty cough. And I've been on a road trip and in the car a lot this week, so walking hasn't been happening either. I'm with Susie, H&F wise, I'm a disaster right now. lol
Not Friday, but Fridays are actually terrible for me at work so maybe I'll try out Thursday
How's it going lately? Have you been sticking to your planned work outs? I'm not doing a very good job lately. I did run twice this weekend, went to yoga, and H and I are going for a run together tonight
What your biggest challenge right now? Running seems to have gotten really hard in the last week.
Anything to AW? I have been walking when I don't have time to get to the gym or run. I've brisk-Walked the ~2 mi from my office to the metro twice this week to squeeze in exercise.
If you workout with music, what are your favorites right now? In a rut with this too. Been relying heavily on t swift lately. Hoping to get some suggestions from y'all.

How's it going lately? Have you been sticking to your planned work outs? For the past week I've been doing pretty well. Trial finished last week, which means I actually can go out during lunch this week and get some miles in. I'm back to doing my pilates at night, and did 7 miles and a yoga class this weekend.
What your biggest challenge right now? Core! I was doing pilates core work last night and it was probably the most difficult it's been the whole pregnancy. I'm going to have to figure out some new exercises because I definitely want to keep my core in shape.
Anything to AW? I'm pretty proud of my 7 miles, even though slow. I've been sticking to 5/6 on the weekend, so 7 is the longest I've done since first trimester.
If you workout with music, what are your favorites right now? Since I've mostly been doing long runs with friends, I haven't used music in a while - we just talk through the run. But I do need to figure something out for my workday runs. Especially since the next season of Zombies Run isn't out yet.
I'm looking back to what I did in the last week and realizing I'm being way too hard on myself. So this week I'm going to work on not comparing pregnant ebeth to marathon training ebeth and just do what I can.
Susie I was really bloated and constipated at that time too and I started wearing maternity pants in the 9-10 week. Regular pants were actually hurting me and sizing up was still too tight in the belly but loose everywhere else even though I didn't gain any weight in the first tri.

That's pretty much how I feel. Bigger pants suck less, but aren't good.
I was SO EXCITED to discover two short sleeve jersey material work dresses in my "out of season stuff" closet this morning that I had forgotten about. JACKPOT.
I'm afraid my running days might be over for the rest of this pregnancy. I was hoping to make it to 28 weeks, and up until last week I was still running 20-30 miles per week. This past week my left shin has been acting up, making it hard to run. I'm going to foam roll, rest, and just walk for at least a week or two, and then maybe try running again.

How's it going lately? Have you been sticking to your planned work outs? Not so hot. Running makes me incredibly sore these days, like I can barely move afterwards, and I'm only running 11-12 minute miles. I also had a bleeding scare last week which has made me a little nervous. I went out for a run/walk combo of walk .25 run .5 the other day though and it was great. I've also been trying to do pregnancy pilates a few times a week and I really enjoy it, but I'm starting to get a separation between my abs, so I'm going to have to skip a lot of the ab exercises.
What your biggest challenge right now? See above
Anything to AW? Nope, not at the moment. Just trying to stay as active as I can!
If you workout with music, what are your favorites right now? I have the most random mix on my ipod, from 90s dance to Metallica.

starburst - I had a similar experience second tri, where I thought I was done. I was getting pelvic pain every time I ran. I slowed down and started doing walk/runs instead. It lasted about 2 weeks, and then miraculously was fine.
How's it going lately? Have you been sticking to your planned work outs? Decently well. I am mentally shooting to work out 4x per week. This week I got to the gym 3 times - 1 hour class Tuesday and 20 mins on elliptical, 1 hour class Wednesday, and did extensive stretching, lifted (squats and shoulder press) and did 30 mins on the elliptical this morning. No yoga at all this week though. DH had late meetings the two nights I generally go, so I was on kid duty.
What your biggest challenge right now? Making time to get to the gym, but DH is supportive, which is hugely helpful.
Anything to AW? Feeling good and happy I can keep up. During wednesday's class we were doing deadlifts and powercleans at one station, and I was kicking ass at those.
If you workout with music, what are your favorites right now? I am liking the Missy Elliott Pandora station.

Oh this gives me hope. After my run/walk the other day I didn't have any pain, so maybe doing that a few times a week will work out for me.
