I think these (especially 2 & 3) look like they're trying too hard to be fancy and expensive looking, but they miss the mark. How much can you change? I think I'd like #2 if you changed the full stone look on the front and made a more normal front entry.
You can save a lot having it not be 100% masonry. Then maybe you can get a house with a front you actually like? I hate the brick front/siding for the rest if the house as much as the next guy, but all brick was prohibitively expensive so.. Siding it is.

It has to be be 100% masonry as per the HOA. I am also confused at 1 and 2 but they are listed as possible models for the neighborhood.
Oh oh ok sorry I misunderstood your original post. I'm sticking with #1. I hate 3 and I like #2 less every time I look at it. I thought I liked it at first but it looks like a weird nature lodge.

This is the house I would like to build, 1 story about 3000 square feet.

What's wrong with this one? Could you cut stuff to make it fit within your budget?
Have you already purchased the lot? If not, maybe this neighborhood isn't the best fit for you. You could be paying a premium for the lot & could otherwise afford homes you love in a different neighborhood.
