Ok so, my hyper focus went into gear and went straight for the 2015 models (it comes in competition orange!!) of the Mustang. I was totally naysaying the ecoboost option but it has some power!
Ok. Can't afford the GT version. Please explain why the V6, which has a smaller engine, and a difference of 5mph on average below the ecoboost is priced less? I did the build your own option, and I came out with $28k on ecoboost. So if I'm looking at that high 20 number on the Eco, why not just go with the V6?HP isn't far off, neither is mpg. I really just don't get it. Enlighten me please!
A few photos because I love that color and it's so pretty:
I think you've got your numbers backwards. I see $23800 for the v6 and $25300 for the eco boost.
The eco boost is turbo so that's why it has more hp and higher MPG. It also has more torque so it'll be faster off the line. The stiffer suspension will also give it better handling but will be a bumpier ride.
Personally, for $1500 more I would totally go for the eco boost for the better suspension/handling and to be able to take off faster. You won't feel any difference in 10hp so you should decide based on the handling/suspension and the torque. Do you want to feel like you're in a sports car (ie bumpier and rougher) or do you prefer smoother? Do you want to take off faster?

I like the bumpy-feel the road thing in mine, though people that ride in my car tend to hate it. It's not a road trip car, for sure. I read a review of the ecoboost and it said that the stance on it made it handle really well, and the other models do not have that. Something to consider.
I probably did get my numbers backwards. I wrote it down before typing so I wouldn't have to back and forth, and then probably got it mixed up!

I like it too! My car has the option to put it in sports mode or luxury mode. It's always on sports...even on long drives. I have to be ready for the slim opportunity that someone wants to race! Lol
They say women generally hate my car because it jerks really hard when you shift but I love it. I feel sad for the men who say they got rid of theirs because their wives don't like it
For that price difference I would totally go for the eco boost but in my quick read, it is a new motor so definitely pay attention to the reviews over the next couple of years to see what issues it has and what they have done to fix it. Unless you don't plan to keep it for a long time then totally go for it!

The fact that it's new technology does give me pause, and a reason to wait until it has at least a year on the road to test the kinks out of it.
