Ugh, so many things. Our contractor had to reconfigure the stairs to our screened porch (which requires footings, railings, more steps), adding $1200 to the project. I'm guessing those stairs cost me this outdoor wicker.

Not H&G, but I want an anatomy book like this for my 5yo. She says she wants to be a doctor or a scientist. I basically had to draw her all the body systems yesterday. (She added #2 in the digestive system on, naturally.) But she has SO many toys and books already.

LOL @juno, not recently, actually - R usually squirrels them away somewhere. I've always had a love for vintage trailers (my grandparents were life members of the Airstream Club of America and my parents had a little clamshell tent camper.)
That one's actually for sale on my local CL for $5700 and I WANT it, but I have, so far, been unable to convince R.
I think I want these to replace the sectional in the family room:
(In the brown, or similar.)
I am hoping my Q2 bonus in July will be sufficient to order them. I really want a more comfortable place to relax than our current sectional before the baby comes in the fall.

IMO, books and toys are a big part of how kids learn. There is such a thing as too many toys, but not books. I might not have bought every single book on the subject, but if the kids were interested in something, I made sure that they had at least one good book on the subject that they could spend hours going over.
I really want these to display my nerdy collections, but they are $150 per individual cabinet and $80 for the legs. Just not in the budget right now:
Where are they from? $150/cabinet is cheap unless you mean per unit. I am always a fan of these barrister bookcases. But I know I can never afford the real thing. Each cabinet is like $850 or up on eBay!
Everything for the new house! Appliances, dining room set, formal living room furniture, outdoor dining set, new kitchen table, lamps...I could go on forever.
Alas, it all waits until we sell our current house.

I agree, but she has so many toys and books and she's not great about taking care of them. We really need to purge, find a place for everything, and then work with her on taking care of her stuff. I'm afraid if I got this, she'd leave it on the floor and it would get ruined by her 2yo sister. The age rating is 8, I'm betting it's a little delicate.
mrs.jacinthe, I love it! My dad bought a Shasta complete with 8-track and velvet Elvis tapestry when I was little. We kept it for a long time but never used it as anything more than a playhouse (and we may have used it for a sleepover a few times). Last week H and I were driving by an RV place and noticed they have Shasta reissue trailers. I want one! That and an Airstream and a teardrop and a VW minibus.

bunnymendelbaum It's actually pretty sturdy. The pages are cardboard and the model is plastic. The girls have had it since Christmas and it's still in good shape.

These are being sold locally. And yes it's $150 per box. we don't have a lot of money left in our furniture budget. And we have to landscape the back yard still.
I really want to get a couple of these for the front porch and also end tables, etc. But H's job situation is not looking good so I'm trying to keep spending to essentials.
