I really only drink root beer maybe 1-2 times a month, but I can't stand diet. I figure with my limited consumption and the nasty stuff in diet anyway, it's not worth trying to get used to it. It tastes salty to me.
I *love* Pepsi. I don't particularly like Coke, but I'll get it if that's the only fountain option - if it's in a can or a bottle then I'll buy another drink.
Sprite is OK. Sometimes I'll go for a cherry Coke or a root beer or something. Lately I've been on a lemonade kick (usually Minute Maid at soda fountains around here).
I'd rather have water, or nothing, that a diet soda. Blech. I'm getting better at just ordering water in restaurants and diners.
I rarely drink soda but when I do I drink regular. The diet stuff tastes gross so I'd rather get water than have diet. I don't like artificial sweeteners in general. I'm also a loyal Coke fan. Pepsi is not the same!
