I am. It's the one Saturday a year I have to work. I've had a terrible cold and it's finally getting better so maybe 6 miles later today if I am feeling up to it.

Me. My running group is out doing 6 miles before the half next weekend, but I'm sitting here in the kitchen nursing stupid cramps and playing with our new puppy while my wife makes us all french toast. Probably not going to make up the run, but I have a 5k tomorrow.
I woke up at the usual time. I wanted to sleep in, but my internal alarm clock never lets me. I got in a good HIIT workout and now we are getting ready for a lacrosse game. Another cold one. Come on Spring! ETA: It is snowing. What?!
I am beyond tired. My whole body wants to quit for today. Marathon is in 2 weeks and I did 20 last weekend. I don't think I am sick, just sore and tired. I was going to run about 8 miles, then do a 5K just at tempo pace, then go to work. That is not happening anymore. (I must work.)
Should I A: Run an easy 5-6 miles at home and skip race B: Go to race, warm up, do what I can. C: Scrap running today, sleep longer, and try to run semi-long on Monday. ( I will not have time to run Sunday.)

D: something else
If you respond to this nonsense, thank you!
B. Do a few warm up miles, see what you can do at the race. If you have time then do a few after. I'm always in favor of racing though it is way more motivating than going out my front door.

I was so tired at the beginning of taper. Pretty much the most exhausted I felt all training cycle. At this point at least I know it is normal! I would probably do B, but I like racing even if it isn't necessarily a fast race for me. I don't think there is a thing wrong with any of these options though!
Love of my life baby boy born 11/11. One and done not by choice; 3 years of TTC yielded 4 MMC and 2 CPs, through 4 IUIs and 2 IVFs. Focusing on making the world a better place instead...and running.
So i got up early today to do my first individual, with cameras and mirrors, very expensive swim lesson. Like im training for the olympics or something. But it was a TREMENDOUS help. By the edn, I wad holding a 1:04/100 pace. Woot.
I ate French toast for breakfast. It's still a bit drizzly, so I'm going to ride my trainer easy for an hour. I slept almost 10 hours last night and am giving my body an easy day since I'm still sick. I plan to do a little furniture shopping this afternoon. I was supposed to shoot (photograph) one of the biggest bike crits in the Southeast today, but I'm not standing in the rain for 5 hours. Tomorrow's big crit weather is looking great, so I'll shoot that instead.
