I have to take Jack to a birthday party today and I really don't want to go. It's a friend of his from daycare so I don't really know the mom. I'm afraid I'm going to be all awkward as I generally am in situations where I don't know anyone. H is working today so he can't come along.
On the plus side, my sister is going to watch Jack tonight so H and I can have a little date night
I'm in the double digits in the countdown to my due date!!
J woke up at 630, and since DH was awake, he got him. I technically woke up too, but have been lounging in bed and refuse to go up until I know the coffee is made.
I also have Js pictures this afternoon and haven't figured out what he's wearing yet. I should probably do that.
We have to go to my niece's b-day party today and I'm dreading it. SIL have come to H's b-day every year and they're really kind to him so I want to be there and show the same for my niece but I know if FIL and his SO show up gift in hand I'll be angry and hurt because they have never gotten DS a b-day gift and SO didn't show up this year at all. It's not that I care about getting a gift just that FIL and SO are not subtle about which of their grandkids they prefer.
Lillian's eye is looking so much better!! But she's being a pain about the antibiotics right now. I've put it in pudding which had been working until now.
H has a man cold. GREAT. He's worse than she ever is sick.
Emerson has gymnastics for the first time today. It's actually the third class, but we couldn't go to the first two because of her birthday party and then pictures last week. I'm kind of nervous to walk into a group for the first time. I

Question: if a party is scheduled from 3-5 I'm expecting them to give him a meal of sorts. Yes? H and I are going to go out for dinner after Jack goes to bed so I really don't want to have to come home from this party and have to make him dinner.
Rhys is sleeping horribly -- should tooth. Also his overnight diaper has been leaking every night lately, I moved up a size and it still does! Lame. Our washer is broken so it extra sucks.

We have Madison's dance class this morning but she doesn't want to go. I asked why and it's because she is scared of the girl who cries. Ugh, I get that it's hard to have a shy kid but there are two girls each week who are kicking and screaming and the parents are pretty much just forcing them in and it's disrupting everyone. Madison is very sensitive to noise. This is the third week so I hope it is better. The first week was a sub instructor so I hope that if it's the same lady two weeks in a row that the other girls won't cry. It irritates me that Madison will want to leave at break because I have to wake Andrew up to even make the class.
W went back to sleep after each feeding last night! I was still up every two hours and I'm still tired, but I feel a little more rested. When he woke up at 8:30 I brought him to the living room to nurse so I could watch tv, only to find B asleep on the couch. I have no idea how long he has been here. He has been getting up on his own and coming into the living room whereas before he would yell for us from his bed. Poor guy probably fell back asleep waiting for one of us to get his milk.
We are having a small party for B tonight as tomorrow is his birthday. Just grandparents and aunts and uncles. I should still clean up the house a bit. We also haven't gotten him anything for his birthday, so H and I are going to do that sometime today, if anyone ever wakes up in this house!

I would not expect a meal at that time.
ETA could you pack an easy to eat meal (sandwich, cheese, cut fruit, etc) that he could eat in the car on the way home?
Hot chocolate and waffles for breakfast. Two kids in footed jammies. Husband who took both kids at 3am so I could get an uninterrupted stretch. I love weekends so so much!!
Were in for rough weather today. Luckily it until a bit later. H is gone all day and I need to do something around the house to clean up since the appraiser is coming monday

bigappleTrudyCampbell blah. I guess I'm expecting that because I generally feed him dinner around 5 since he goes to bed at 7. Looks like he's getting a grilled cheese when we get home

New York babies don't eat until 10pm, right before they hit the clubs. Fact.
Today I'm in fundraising freak out mode. Next Sunday we're doing a fundraiser for H's big bike ride (because he's only raised $100/$2500 needed to ride) and we hardly have any prizes. I hate asking people for things, but I'm also not willing to shell out $2000 so H can do the ride.
I guess I should plan some stuff for Owen's party too, eh?
Yesterday I gave Violet French toast sticks for breakfast and while she gobbled them up, I think she reacted a bit to something in them, my guess is the eggs. Plain toast for breakfast today, we'll see how her face looks after this!

For us, Owen would eat enough snacks and randoms at the party that it would essentially be dinner. Though he'd probably want to eat something again just before bed.

Delaney starts soccer today!!!!
When Ari had that problem going down a size worked.

Yeah, see I was thinking this. Since he's not a big eater anyway, he will probably be full of party food and cake and not want anything else until a before bed snack. I'm going to bring something for the car just in case but I don't expect him to eat much of it.

I would not expect a meal from them. They might have something small like pizza or something but you should be prepared to feed him.
My kid's appetite is so small that one piece of pizza, possibly some fruit, and a slice of cake is a full meal. I'm going to go with what bigapple suggested and bring something to give him in the car, but I really don't expect him to eat much of it.
