AllieHound why shouldn't you have brought it up to H, because like Nitaw said. No. Also, NO!
Mostly because he pretty rarely goes out for anything, he tends to prioritize time with us and generally is much more considerate than he's being lately. I should probably give him a one time pass because he's usually awesome. But I'm just not feeling like it right now.

And that's great, but that doesn't mean you need to be chauffeur. I always encourage H to go out because, like your H, he rarely does, but dude....dropping them off and ferrying them around? NO.

Voodoo, have you done the insurance appeal process? I feel like DR is one of those things they just deny because they think people are trying to get a mommy makeover for free, but if it is bad enough to be causing hernia toon you might be able to get it covered.

@nitax...you look fantastic!
H has since asked his parents to watch DS, told his siblings I was coming to dinner and that they were all getting picked up by 11. If they choose to stay out later, they're responsible for getting themselves home. None of which i suggested he do. Good boy.

IDK.
it is all so confusing.
I agree with andrealynn. You should fight this. It may seem completely overwhelming and confusing, but you are smart and can do this. You should do this for you.

Check to see if you or your DHs job has a healthcare advocate as a benefit. They're paid to work on things like this. Aon is a company that frequently provides this benefit.
Also, there are companies out there that do this. I think AAA even offers this benefit to its members.

I agree with whoever posted this. I have friends who had DR and got a tummy tuck on top. The DR was covered.
Fight it, girl! Never take what am insurance company says as the final word. I have H's advocate fighting $300 worth of coverage. Imagine what if do for $6.5k

Our (my sister and my) 5K was today. We finished together (little snot sprinted at the end, so she technically finished a few seconds ahead of me. This after I stopped for her while she tied her shoe!) with a 9:35 average.
It was cold and there was a nasty headwind for the second mile.

What a difference a day makes. Yesterday, I was complaining that we couldn't find a house to rent. Today we found one. It was a little higher than what we wanted, and asked if it was negotiable.
After DH and I discussed it, we decided we wanted it. We called them back, and before we even asked about negotiating, they said they'd reduce it $200, because they liked us!
