We are making nursery plans now that we know baby is a girl. We live in a smaller urban apartment so baby girl is going into an alcove/closet space off our bedroom. It is 6.5x7 feet and its open to our room. One wall is exposed brick and that wall has a large window. We are doing a pink/navy/gold color "theme".
What We Have: MIL bought us this mini crib in Navy from Pottery Barn and we have ordered this dresser also in Navy. We are going to swap out the silver pulls for gold ones and put pink baskets on the bottom shelf for baby girls toys and stuff. We are getting these sheets with navy and pink and are having this crib skirt altered to fit the mini crib.
What We Need: Decor. I bought this lamp last night at target. I really want a fun print for over the dresser, something with pink and navy, with a gold frame. I was looking for maybe a flamingo or pineapple but am open to ideas. I don't want it to look like it was meant for a baby room but want it to be whimsical, lol. Any ideas on where to find something? I figure I can find a cheap frame or spray paint a frame but the print is harder to find.
I also need something for over the crib and need ideas. I was thinking gold letters with her name similar to the letters in photo 2 but hear that putting anything over the crib should be really light?
Also I think we might get the modern rocker in photo 3, I love the style and its small which is great for our space. I would likely get a gold morocaan poof for it but also want a fun pillow. I need ideas for that too:)
These are some pinterest pics that I am using as my "inspiration" for style to give people an idea.
I would check Etsy for prints. I did a quick search and they have some cute options for both flamingos and pineapples.
For above DD's crib I used gold polka dot decals that I stuck on the wall. You could maybe do something similar with one of the shapes from the pattern in the sheets?

I like the idea of gold polka dots on the wall. That could be really cute.
I agree etsy is likely where I should look but there are too many options and its overwhelming!
I was afraid to hang anything over the changing table or crib, so I just have decals. PP's suggestions are good. Ours are from Blik and a company that I think is called Trafalgar Square.
The lamp on our changing table needs to go now that DS is mobile and reaches for it all the time, but was very useful for MOTN changes when he was tiny (a lot less light than the ceiling fixture). Keep that in mind if the lamp will be anywhere in reach of a baby who can stand in her crib or roll on the changing table. Oh, and this lamp is turned on and off with a foot switch. Again, super helpful in the MOTN.

Have you been to target lately? In the home decor area they had a whole line in that hot pink, gold and navy, some in a nautical theme. Super cute and I thought nursery when I saw it.

I got the cute lamp there yesterday from there and a gold dish to hold wipes and lotions:) All that stuff was so cute!!
I love all of your ideas! That first nursery is super cute though I tend to shy away from dark walls because I like to keep things bright. It might work in an alcove though.
Our DD's nursery has some navy and pink/coral along with many other colors. It also has some brass accents. Here are a few pictures to help give you ideas.
With a small nursery I'd focus on storage. Shelving can give you more space to put things and keep breakable away from little hands. I spray painted these Ikea shelf brackets to be brass. They have a glossy white finish that would work well with your chair.
The painting above the dresser is from Minted. They have lots of great options. Also check out Homegoods. They had a bunch of gold wording pictures a few months ago.

I just have to say I love the pink/navy/gold combo!!!
I wanted to do pink and navy for DD, but that was 5 years ago and it just wasn't as common.
Not sure if you are into them, but a ribbon garland would look really nice behind the crib, with her name above it. You can usually find them in etsy, but I have made mine. All you need is fabric strips (I get jelly rolls, but it might be hard to find those colors together) and you tie them the twine/ribbon.

I love those shelves, those are ikea? I think those over the dresser then a print or garland over the bed would work. I could add some gold dot decals too:)
Are you planning on nursing or using the chair as she gets older? I nursed DD for 11 months but we still sit in her glider every night to ready stories. While I love the modern look I would consider something that still has clean lines and a small profile but would be more comfortable.
This would be a good option, and would transition well if you move and have more space to play with.
