I have posted a few times before but have only been lurking for the past few months. Life has been pretty crazy but I am ready to jump back in!!
A little about me: - I am a first grade teacher - My husband and I welcomed our first baby on April 15th. We are absolutely in love with her!! - I am an Aggie! - I love to cook and am always looking for new recipes/meals to try - we have two dogs that are very jealous but adjusting to their new reality everyday!!
i hope to post more!! Ask me anything you are curious to know!! Look forward to "hanging out" with you guys!!
I love to make homemade meatballs!! I don't really have a recipe for them but it was the first meal I ever watched MIL make and my husband loves them!! I was determined to learn to make them and now they are second nature and added to our meal plan every other week!!
Also, my crockpot! It is not real cooking to me since I just throw stuff in but it makes the best meals and will be used a lot while on maternity leave!! My favorite dish in the crockpot is Chicken Parmesan. It is super easy and so good served over noodles with corn and a salad!
I'm a huge crockpot fan! No effort needed cooking is the best kind of cooking. Do you have a recipe for your Chicken Parm? H loves that dish, but I've never tried it in a crockpot and it's a pain in the butt to make the non-crockpot way.

Hi!! I just had a little boy 4/19 congrats! How's it going so far?
I also have a DD who will be 5 in 2 weeks.
Sife note - my cheating version of chicken parm - I use Italian shake and bake, then just put sauce and melt cheese on top. It's easy, quick, abd semi healthy.
pooh8402, Howdy!! I knew there were a few Aggies around here!!
Lets see, my favorite color is purple!! My favorite movies are Father of the Bride 1 & 2 and I have always wanted to play Annie. I think she is so cute and the story line in both movies is so sweet. & if I could travel anywhere, I would love to go back to Antigua. My husband and I went for our honeymoon and it was hands down the best vacation ever!!
spankswife, thank you & congratulations to you too!! Things are going well!! She is breast feeding like a champ which I was pretty nervous about and sleeping 2-4 hours at a time. Praying things stay smooth but know to expect bumps in the road!! How are things going for you?
We have a blue heeled that is 11. She is our first baby but definitely showing her age :-( We also have a 3 year old black lab. Everyone says lab puppies are a mess but she has been the best dog so far!! Neither are very interested in the baby get (which is fine with me) and are DYING for attention!!
MrsAggie, we do still live in Texas!! We have season tickets to the football games and make many trips back and forth to College Station during the fall.
Are yall still in Texas? We should plan a get together at a football game if yall go!!

We could totally do a GTG for games. We have season tickets too!

I'm the only one who doesn't have season tickets but I live close enough to where I could definitely do a GTG. DS needs to take his first trip to A&M

agteach08 good! Same here. Bf, sleeping 2-4 hours. Once a day we have this crazy cluster feed/latching battle but he's really good overall! We go for a weigh in tomorrow, so hopefully it is working. (I did not produce enough to bf DD, but I can already tell this experience is better than last).
He's so calm and laid back, opposite of DD. She was a good baby, but I just remember her crying a lot, and hating the car, and she was easy to startle. He sleeps through everything! It's funny, every single thing about the pregnancy was opposite, and they are so opposite already!
1. If you were stuck in an elevator, who would you want to be stuck with? 2. What are you having for lunch today? 3. Where was your last trip?
Hi!!
Reading that first question made me extremely anxious lol I would FREAK if I got stuck in an elevator. In fact, I avoid them if at all possible but... If I were to get stuck, I would want to be stuck with my husband, a masseuse, & a bartender! I would say our baby too just because I don't want to be away from her but 1) that would take away the relaxing massage 2) I have happy thoughts hat she would be with grandma and happy as can be! Being stuck in an elevator is one of my fears so it's kinda funny you asked this!!
I haven't eaten lunch yet! I went to the grocery store and our panty/fridge is stocked but I can't seem to make myself get off the couch and make anything. #lazyproblems
Last trip.. Small, I had an interview this morning and then went to the grocery store. Big, H & I went to New Orleans for a wedding this past July. Lots of fun!! Bigger, we went on a cruise to the Bahamas & Key West 2 summers ago!!
