I think we have almost decided on nursery furniture from DD's room, and it's from Pottery Barn. Does anyone know if Pottery Barn ever has sales on their nursery furniture? I have a PB credit card so I feel like I should know the answer to this, but I have no idea. Thanks for any feedback!
Like twice a year. I want to say it was May last year that they had one that was actually good? I was only about 8 weeks and by the time they had another not-as-good sale, they were back ordered past my due date. So if you see a sale, jump on it.
Can I talk you out of PBK? For the money, I think you'll get better quality elsewhere. My DS and older DD have PBK furniture. The wood is so soft it dings constantly and overall I have been very very unimpressed with PB quality. The company's customer service leaves much to be desired.
Land of Nod, on the other hand, has the most amazing customer service and a good product.
We have a Munire set that is in near perfect condition and it's been used for the last 7 years and by 3 kids. I've also been impressed with the company's customer service.
Although if I had to do it over again I'd just get the IKEA crib or maybe the Graco Lauren one!

Agree with above. We have the Kendall dresser, crib and a glider from PBK. I'm not impressed with the quality at all. Scratches easily and just hasn't held up the way I expected PBK too. I have a PB sectional and its held up SO much better than the PBK stuff.
shell24 and mrscreanium - noooo!!! I am so sad to hear the PBK quality isn't great. I've looked at so many places (including land of nod since I generally love their stuff) but there's no styles I like. My son has Romina furniture (which I highly highly recommend) but no styles we like for baby girl.
I'm looking at the Ava Regency crib, wide dresser and tall open bookshelf. I love how it looks!
I'll be the dissenter on PB furniture. I love my stuff...and I own a fair amount of it. All of my substantive furniture, like dressers, beds, etc. is PB not PBK though.
Definitely sign up for emails. I get 15% or 20% off about once a week. If you want I'll let you know next time I have a code I'm not using. We also use the rewards points from our credit card for PB gift cards.
Thanks pippa! I get the emails since I have the PB credit card so I should probably actually start paying attention.
Thanks for the suggestion shell24! I have shopped Pali and munire online but nothing caught my eye. I may still get the PBK stuff since I love the styling, but until there is a sale, I'll continue to look.
