Did everyone else know theirs? I didn't. I had to pull up the results from my last test. My total is 198, LDL is 98 and HDL is 75.
My doctor also looks at the total cholesterol:HDL ratio. My total cholesterol looks like it's only 2 points away from being out of the normal range, but it's because my HDL is high, which is actually a good thing. So the ratio gives another component to the data. According to the printout from my last test, below 3.5 is a good ratio, and below 3.5 is optimal. (Mine is 2.92 - cholesterol brag, lol.)
248 - no meds. It has been the same for 20 years. Bad genetics. Reason for no meds is because my doctor said you can't be on these meds if you might be trying to get pg. I also had a heart scan (heart calcium scan) and my results were perfect that I have no risk for heart attack.

Even with meds mine stays right around 300, and that's with high doses of Crestor. Pre-med it was always high 400's. Crazy high, thus open heart surgery at 32. Stupid inherited genes.
Total 424 a few weeks ago, HDL 62 I believe, LDL over 200. Not on meds due to pregnancy. Totally hereditary, it's been high since I was 5. I started lipitor when I was 23, and it worked great. My doc and I agreed to take me off it 3 years ago due to TTC, and stay off until I'm done childbearing. My overall cardiac risk is great.
I don't remember exactly, but at my last appointment my Dr commented on not needing to check my numbers because I was (I assume she was rounding) 50 (LDL) & 70 (HDL). I believe triglycerides were around 40-45, so 130-ish?
