Amazing progress! You look awesome! Did you go low carb/Atkins or a version of Paleo? My heaviest was 320 lbs back in summer '10. Low carb-carb/calorie cycling that was 70/30 Primal was the only way I was able to really lose fat and sustain that loss.
I'm on MFP too and have been tracking on and off for the last couple of months. I've friend requested a load of you. I'm Irishmumof2girls on there if anyone else wants to find me.
I am KristenLosingIt on MFP and would love more friends! I start MFP tomorrow to commence Operation Bridesmaid Dress. I am in two weddings this summer, and I ordered one dress online and one after trying it on in person at six months pregnant. THE IN-PERSON ONE DOESN'T FIT AND I AM 10 POUNDS LIGHTER. WTF?! The other one is four inches too small, and it was the largest size they make. I cried. Thank god it's a foot too long on me, so hopefully a seamstress can work miracles.
Anyway. I am in. I don't want to do anything overly drastic because I don't stick with drastic, but I do want to start being much more conscious about what I eat and how much I move.
I admit that I've only briefly skimmed the 21.day.fix posts but I'm intrigued. Do you have to do the shakes? I'm not into the MLM stuff. I think a few mentioned that they only do the workouts? What are the results like?
This is my last week pumping at work and I'm using it as motivation to get myself back on track. I dropped a size on WW earlier this year but I have more to do!

Gravy you look awesome! I have lost 10 pounds but of course had two awful cheat days this weekend. Weekends are my downfall. And I suffer from that fun thing where I am at my prior pp weight but my clothes still don't fit. Womp Womp.

I don't do the shakes because I have no desire to spend that kind of money on protein powder.
The workouts are awesome. I bought it on Amazon. They're 30 minutes and keep you entertained. You get a good workout and I've seen results. But I never stick with it for the full 21 days because my work schedule makes it incredibly hard plus I've been sick a lot. #excuses
I still do a workout as I can and even then I've lost 11# and inches.

I will let you know in 21 days I got the DVDs, containers and one month of shakes. I'm not really planning on keeping up with the shakes but I might if I have great results. I wanted to give them a shot. You don't HAVE to do the shakes. It's just an added part. I think the plan was made with them in mind but I know plenty of people do it without them

By no means do you have to do the shakes! I did two rounds of the program (one without tracking food, and one with tracking food) and found a difference in both but obviously much more drastic when I was tracking the food. I see a huge improvement in strength, energy, and now weight loss (with my food control).
I drink the shakes but that's because they are easy. They are really expensive though. Let me know if you want more info

Fair warning- if you follow the meal plan, you'll see great results. So I wouldn't necessarily attribute that to the shakes. As I said before, I like them for the convenience, but she has the food set up to show drastic results and I don't want you to feel like shakes = the solution!
I'll be restarting MFP after I have this baby. Not immediately, but once we get into a bit of a routine. I used MFP, along with exercising, to lose some weight a few years ago, so I know that method works for me. Also, paleo eating worked really well for me, and I didn't track calories doing that. So look for a post this fall from me looking for MFP friends!
Good luck to everyone starting or continuing on their weight loss journey!

I did two rounds of the Fix and lost 7 pounds + many inches (4 total from my waist!). I did it with the workouts plus the food plan, which is challenging but doable. The workouts are awesome. For the second round, I upped my weights. I only drank the shakes once a week (after my long run on Saturday mornings). Note about the shake orders: you may automatically have signed up for monthly shipments so check your order form. I didnt realize auto shipments were part of my package, but I was easily able to cancel.
I am using MFP but pretty half-assed, lol. I'll say that I had one tablespoon of creamer and I'm pretty sure it was a half cup. So I need to stop lying to myself ha.
I'm intrigued by the 21 day fix. I didnt realize I could just buy it on amazon. interesting......
Truth! Yeah, I just had like 1/8 of a serving of butter on my toast. LOL

You can, but being 100% honest it doesn't make sense. If you went through a BB coach (cough-me-cough lol) it's $10 cheaper and you get a bonus exercise, which is one of my favorites (Plyo).

I did but my "coach" is my friend and she sends a reminder one week before it renews so I can cancel if I want. I've heard the work outs are great-- I am excited and a little nervous! Honestly I am most scared about my soda addiction
I am starting 21 day fix tomorrow!! Has anyone else done it? I've been browsing Instagram and people have great results with it
I think this is what Stingyshark is doing? I know she is doing super well and looks fabulous!!
Thanks I'm not doing 21DF, but I am doing a combo of PIYO & Chalean Extreme (both are beach body workouts). I started on April 13th - I've lost 5lbs, and 3.5" .
