Ds has figured out how to push the button and lean forward to loosen his car seat straps. He keeps doing it while I'm driving. We have a Britax Marathon convertible seat. Is there something I can get to put on that button so that he can't push it?
You can put a plastic cup over the buckle so the up covers the buckle button. You just have to cut a slit in the base of the cup for the straps and clips to feed through to the buckle

At almost 3, this is definitely a discipline issue. You may want to bribe him with something SUPER fun at your destination for not touching his harness, and he can only get it if he doesn't loosen it at all for the entire ride. If he does, stop the car as soon as possible, pull over, scold, and retighten.
Also, you may want to double check that he's tight enough to start with, because most kids are unable to reach the button with the harness snugly secured (you should not be able to pinch any of the strap material from top to bottom at his shoulder. Also verify that the straps are at the right height. If he's FF, the straps should be above his shoulders. If they're below, it will give him more room to move forward, even if they're tight enough.

My son did the same thing once. Thankfully he announced it to me and I was somewhere I could pull right over. I had a big, like over the top, reaction of how scary and dangerous that is and how that seatbelt is never to be touched when we are driving.
I need to look up the cup thing in case we later need it for Dd.
He sits directly behind the driver's seat so I can't see him very well in my rearview mirror. I didn't even notice until we were at our destination and I went to take him out of his seat. I'll definitely check to make sure the straps are at the right height and that I'm tightening them enough in the first place. I'll also make sure to discipline when I do see it happen though.
