I've been using Paula's Choice 2% BHA nightly for several months and it has made such a positive difference in my skin. I wanted to add in an AHA as well so I bought a bunch of samples and tried using the BHA in the morning and the AHA at night. However, my morning routine is so rushed that it was hard for me to wait long enough for the BHA to sink in before needing to put on SPF and makeup.
Do you think it would be better to use the BHA 6 nights per week and then use the Resist Weekly Treatment 10% AHA once per week instead of BHA OR alternate the BHA with either the 8% AHA gel or the Resist Daily Smoothing 5% AHA, using one or the other each evening? I do need the BHA to help prevent breakouts.

Hmmm, I'm not sure it makes sense to use both AHA and BHA all over your face. They do the same thing, with the only difference being that AHA is moisturizing and BHA penetrates the pores and cleans them out. If you have breakouts all over, I'd use the BHA all over. I have combination skin where I get blackheads on my nose and chin, but my cheeks get dry. For a while I was using BHA on my nose and chin and AHA on the rest of my face. I applied them at the same time. Eventually I quit because it was a hassle and now just do AHA. Retin A almost totally eliminates my blackheads, anyway.
