I'm not a drinker, but when I do, it's whiskey, usually. I like the taste of it, which lead my brother to believe I didn't actually try it, the first time I did, lol. Occasionally, I go to a bar with some friends and I always order a brown derby. I also like pear cider.
I would have such a hard picking two. My taste change so much with mood & season. If I HAD to I would choose whiskey & good local "wheat-y" beer with citrus undertones.
I generally have no desire to branch out from beer and wine (are we including champagne with wine? I do).
However, I do enjoy a nice gin and tonic with lime when it's warm outside and capirinas will hit the spot for me too.
ETA - Bombay Sapphire for the gin, I can't neglect to mention that.
Caipirinhas and G&T are two of my favorite drinks. I also love greyhounds in the summer and at brunch.
Hendricks is my favorite gin, especially served with cucumber.
I also really love old fashioneds in the summer and Manhattans in the winter.
Stupid breastfeeding is realy getting in the way of me enjoying ALL the drinks.
It's a shame that there's no chance of me coming up to NYC this summer. I can picture drinking G+Ts and seeing whether we know any IRL people in common.
Your mention of cucumber reminds me of Pimm's Cup though. I do like a nice PC and miss my friend who used to mix them for his at-home Kentucky Derby party every year.

That would be amazing. I'm sure we'll make a DC trip soon. It's been too long since I've been down. How many more weeks do you have?

Weeks til baby or until the big move? Expecting baby in the next 4-6 weeks and we'll be moving overseas at the end of August. We're in NOVA but close-in to the city.
1800 reposado tequila (can make margaritas and tequila sunrise) is all I need. If I'm picking two, a good beer or wine would be my backup, but I can't think of a specific one at the moment.

Baby We visited your new country when I was pregnant with Carter, so we probably won't be back there in the near future.
I still have a 571 number from my brief stint of living in close-in NOVA.
