I'm still about 6 weeks out from my "A" race (oly), but next weekend I have my first sprint triathlon of the season. How easy should I take it in my training next week in order to do well in the race but not derail my main goal?

I've never done a tri anything, but for B races I make it a step back week and back off the midweek runs by about 50-75% and one extra day of full rest. For C races, I follow the training plan. Good luck!
