Great episode- loved the ending w Roger and Peggy at SCP offices, and then Peggy walking into new office like the badass she is. I hate all the assholes at McCann. Fuckers. Treating Joan like that- ugh. And wtf is Don doing? He needs to forget the waitress. He's clearly not going back anytime soon- wonder what the plan is.
I thought it was a good episode- finally something happening. I feel so bad for Joan. I love that Diana's ex-husband saw right through Don's BS. Go Peggy!
Also- I felt bad for Don when he found out the nice things the guys said to him at the beginning of the episode were fluff- they said the same to Ted, and probably others.
And I noticed Joan used the phrase "servicing clients" several times. I hate that phrase. Sounds like sexual favors, though I guess that's appropriate, given the tone of this episode.

Loved the way that was mirrored in the way the waitresses husband talked to her. He was just another man to her and he thought they had a real connection.
I feel such a personal connection to Joan this episode. Her taking half of what she was due was gut wrenching. She handled herself as best as you possibly could.
I wonder if him finding the engagement ring in the envelope is some foreshadowing re: going out West (to see Megan)
There was also a ss card in there, I thought maybe it was his Dick Whitman stuff and Anna's ring
This crossed my mind. I don't think that part of his life is done, in terms of the series. I think it will come up again. I had kind of fallen out of love w this show around the end of season 5. I caught up before these final 7 episodes, and I love it again and will really miss it
I'm such a sucker. I wanted kick ass girl power story lines this season for Peggy and Joan and it seems I'm not getting them. It may be a reflection of the times, but I'm bitter!
Watching Ferg? putting the moves on Joan made me want to heave. She was so professional even though her head was spinning. Imagining the sexual harassment women had to tolerate in the 60's. He is so creepy.
I can't believe there's only two episodes left. What the fuck, man?!?!
I loved that they played Major Tom at the end. David wants to listen to that song on repeat.
I love that song too. BUT they also played it when a character on Without a Trace was standing on the ledge contemplating suicide, so it was ominous for me. My husbands thinks I'm nuts

Don might be DB Cooper. He's heading Northwest from Racine Wisconsin to St. Paul Minnesota. Perhaps on his way to Portland? Don was watching that airplane during the Miller beer presentation. Don (D) and Bert (B) Cooper.
Loved Peggy walking in at the end, and the roller skating with Roger was so amazing. Why was there an organ in the office though? The octopus painting, loved that too.
Did anyone else notice when Don put his hands on the window in his office? More foreshadowing of him jumping/falling.
I wanted Don/Sally scenes.
I don't really think he's returning to New York, I think he will end up in California and I think he will die somehow.
The Joan stuff. Uggh. The sexism makes me want to vomit.

I did notice Don messing with the window. I think Matthew Wiener is fucking with us.
