And now I've got all these Feelings. It doesn't help that I'm weaning DS #2 right now. Tell me how going from 2 kids to 3 was really, really hard (or how it wasn't, lol, I need ammunition for DH)
Don't look at me. I'm over here still trying to convince H to go for a fourth. We took a vote at dinner and have one parent and one kid for and against. The little guy would be the tie-breaker but he's not talking much yet, although he's so possessive of me I'm pretty confident he'd vote against another rival.
Going from 1-2 kicked my butt as far as dealing with a newborn but it was because there was an 8 yr gap. It was starting over and re-learning everything. My 3rd was born 17 months later and that was hard because she's been the most difficult child of all. I'm hoping #4 is easier.
Our third also slid right in like he was just always a part of us, but he is only 15 months younger than our second.
I'd also go for a fourth, but my husband is a definite no go. As it is, I've been changing diapers for the last 6 3/4 years, and we are finally seeing light at the end of the tunnel with the little guy. Our third has also been our most difficult, and most demanding, but I do baby the shit out of him, because I know he is our last so I take some responsibility for that.
Our nanny is having a baby this August. She will take some weeks off, and then come back with the baby, so at least I get to see and smell and snuggle a new baby without having to live through the sleep deprivation part, so that helps tame my baby fever. I don't think I'll ever not want another baby even if we did go ahead and have a fourth.
I love having 3. Love. I look at my babies and I just feel so happy. I'll be begging h for a 4th in 2-3 years, haha.
Going from 1-2 was difficult, but theo was a difficult baby. Sofia had the jealousy thing going on, and it didn't help that h started working oot right around the time theo was born. That added a lot of stress at first.
2-3 has been super easy. We pretty much follow the same routine, but now we have ilya hanging around. Lol. He's only 3 months old but it feels like he's been with us forever.
I just visited my friend/coworker 10 minutes ago and held her newborn. (We work at the hospital in which she delivered). I need a baby now! Lol I don't have any yet.....maybe she'll let me borrow him?? He was awfully cute and snuggly.
