I am stressed out because I freaking forgot to pack towels for my daughter for her week at 6th grade science camp. She left this morning and its 3 hours away with no contact for the whole week. I sent them Fed Ex an hour ago and they should arrive by 10:00am tomorrow but it's making me panicky that she might realize that she has no towels tonight and that she will be stressed thinking that she's screwed for the whole week. I sent her teacher an email but I'm not sure she's checking email while she's there.
....I am highly attracted to the dude from the Scott's grass seed commercials.
I don't know what this says about me or my life choices.
ME TOO. He just seems so self-assured, lol. Every time we're at HD and go by the lawn stuff, I point stuff out to DH and tell him that Scott said we should be using it.
I feel very little love for C's teachers and honestly, I don't feel like doing much for them for Teacher Appreciation Week. I love K's teacher.
And it is something all week long. I understand it is nice for a teacher to get something as token, but I get annoyed when I have to do all these things, over the week AND am then asked to give money for an additional gift.

IYou're not alone. Our PTA Is insane about this stuff. The room parents I've rtalked to are not happy about how much extra work and money it's placed on the families.

BaliHai, my husband and I joke about my love for Trivago guy whenever one of those commercials comes on. While watching tv just the other day, H was like "I'll go get you another glass of wine, so you don't have to miss the TRIVAAAGO guy." LOL.
DSs daycare is in this weird transitional period. His teacher moved to the next class up and his teachers are S and A. I never see S and I see A in an assistant role during drop off only, his old teacher from the previous class wrangles them all for breakfast. I'm not exactly sure who teaches him so I didn't do anything for teacher day. He's supposed to move up soon and then he will be back with the teacher he is used to and I'll buy her a bottle of wine when that happens.
You know what? I hate false lashes. HATE THEM. I try to wear them a few times a year because I forget how terrible they are, and then I end up ripping them off 30 minutes later. Taking of fake eyelashes feels 10x better than taking off a bra.
