“Life is not orderly. No matter how we try to make it so, right in the middle of it lose a leg, fall in love, drop a jar of applesauce.” - Natalie Goldberg
If you would have asked me before dd was around, I wouldn't have had any idea what you were talking about. And the only reason I know now is because they talk about that book on one of the Blues Clues episodes dd used to watch on repeat all day long.
Yes. Born in '84. But I also have seen it when babysitting in high school, at the bookstore in the children's section, at my nephew's house, etc. It's everywhere.
I said the phrase today, and not a single person around me knows what I am talking about.
The book came out the year I was born (85) - but not even the people my age knew what I was talking about. (wilted)
My kids had a whole series of the books. I loved them. Ask those same people about "Love You Forever," probably the creepiest fucking kids book ever written. Everyone knows that book. Yuck.

Is it just me do these books exhaust anyone else? I'm like, " First you want a cookie, now a glass a milk, then this, then that, ugh." It's neverending! STFU!
