I think a lot of us are in a funk today (myself included). Lets turn it around. Tell us 5 good things that are going on in your life right now or today. Can't be the usual I'm healthy, I have a job, etc...
Really stretch yourself and tell us 5 non-standard good things or things you're thankful for.
2. Haven't made it to the gym yet and I'm already over 6000 steps
3. I figured out to do a sock bun over the weekend and I'm rocking a big ol top bun today and it looks like I have a massive amount of hair.
4. I'm trying something new and making some random chorizo chili type thing for dinner. I'm hopeful it doesn't taste like ass. And if it does we'll have tofu dogs for dinner again.
5. My bras actually fit. I know, it's kinda old news, but holy shit, I never knew that bras were supposed to be this comfortable. It still makes me happy every morning when I put on a bra and I'm like "ahhhhhh"
1. I just spent an incredible weekend with my hubby, and we saw orcas up close and personal!
2. One of those letters of recommendation made it to the advisor, so now they're just waiting on the last one.
3. I'm not working at the moment, so I get to spend lots of time with my Augi. I'm seriously nuts about him, and when I'm home, I spend 80% of my time playing with him.
4. I am super grateful for all of you. No joke, when H and I moved here, I was excited the first few weeks, then I was a mess until I found the Seattle board on TN.
5. It's sunny today and I'm meeting up with a friend later to take our dogs to Marymoor!
3. I figured out to do a sock bun over the weekend and I'm rocking a big ol top bun today and it looks like I have a massive amount of hair.
are you saying this because you don't actually have a massive amount of hair? because I think it looks cool, but I already have a massive amount of hair, so I'm afraid it will look like I'm trying to be some Vogue model going crazy with the big bun

I don't have a massive amount of hair, it's long, but that's it.
I would kill to have a massive amount of hair. You should do it. I love it when it looks all huge, like the big mac sized bun on your head.
uw- can you show me how to do it? i don't have a massive amount of hair and i want to have that. please? when can we gtg? lol.
1. my birthday is in less than 4 mo. 2. i had an oreo milkshake today. 3. i have a dentist appt today! 4. vegas is next month 5. i love the outfit i'm wearing.
2. The scale still doesn't want to budge, but my clothes are too big and I feel good
3. My H agreed to go running with me tonight
4. My boss came back from her medical leave and work is just all around better this week
5. My dog is really starting to mellow out, and is sweet and cuddly more often than she's spastic and puppy-esque. Not that I don't love her puppy side, but it's nice to have a dog that will just curl up next to me and give me sweet looks

1. My cat was ridiculously excited to seem me last night. I always feel bad leaving her, but love coming home to her.
2. As much as this move is stressing me out, I'm proud of my DH and his drive to climb the corporate ladder.
3. I get to experience another part of the country, due to the move, without it costing us much out of pocket. Most people don't get that opportunity, I realize.
4. My new temp apartment has 2 pools!
5. My Realtor thinks our house should sell quickly.
3) I had 0 meetings at work today. Good for getting some research done and items checked off the to-do list.
4) I finally get to go out with my photo club this weekend. It has been months since I have gone out shooting.
5) Creating dinner plans a week in advance is working out to be a blessing. Last night I came home from work and H had everything ready to go we just needed to cook the pancakes. Tonight even though I feel like crap there is an easy dinner planned for tonight that doesn't take much prep.
1) My husband is adorable in his support of my healthy efforts. Sometimes in the evening, I realize I've taken my fitbit off to sync and forgot to put it back on and already gone up and down the stairs a few times. I get pouty for being "cheated" out of the credit, and he'll take my fitbit and say, "How many times?" and then run up and down the stairs so that it's on the accurate count.
2) I really do have good ILs. I didn't get all the dishes washed before leaving for camping and they came over to feed the cat a few times. When we came home, MIL had put away the clean dishes I had left out to dry and washed most of the rest of them!
3) We have A/C in our bedroom now! It may not be high-class and a little in the way, but it was free (in our basement from my dad's storage unit) and I can sleep better again!
4) Theo Dark Chocolate Coconut bar.
5) I had a major hassle trying to reschedule my last PT appointment. The stupid UWMedical people wouldn't even let me leave her a message! I did finally convince them to transfer me to her department and the normal people are much nicer and gave me her VM so I could see if she wanted to see me a last time. The department aide called me today to schedule and got me in next week, rather than mid-October Suck it official UWMed Admin!
My husband and I are doing it. I took a break after getting a load of dishes and a load of laundry started.
Oh - I thought you had someone coming in...I wish we had time to clean!!
This is the first time in over a week I have had the energy to clean. We have dishes and clothes piled up that need to be washed. our suitcase from a month ago is still sitting in the living room unpacked with dirty clothes still in it. We've both been really busy and then H had 4 teeth pulled, E got pink eye and a sinus infection and then I got a sinus infection too so none of us have wanted to do it.
H has asked his dad about what it would cost to have a friend of his to come in and do a deep clean so we might eventually go with that but right now it just isn't in the budget.

1. Microbiology is over in 2 days, and I'm 99% sure I will get a decent grade. 2. My kids are adorable and kissing their cheeks makes my day. 3. DH and I are over our argument and I'm pretty sure we will be ok. 4. My car is probably going to get fixed instead of totaled. 5. Hawaii is in 1.5 months!!!

1. My hubs came to my classroom today to help me out. It actually looks like I did something today. My desk is all set up, I leveled books and organized books in the student library, I got rid of crap I don't need anymore. It's starting to look like a classroom! ;D
2. We went swimming last night and I swam longer than DH, he just sat down and waited patiently while I finished up. I thought he would be annoyed but he wasn't.
3. I'm going to set up a Twitter account for my classroom! I super excited about it! Eventually students will be able to post a Tweet, but at first we will do it together.
4. I'm digging the warm weather we are having!
5. I'm signing up for my first Ironman race in a week!
Why is that on my list of good things? Or why did I mention it? I keep GOOD quality chocolate in my desk for after work, the darker the better as it's more satisfying for less calories. The bar has 6 long "pieces," and I calculated the calories of half a piece as 70 calories, so it's not so terrible but I get a little indulgence.
I just needed a break from my Endangered Species Tiger bar (which I calculated as 23 calories per square, even better)!
