I'm reading The Sundered by Ruthanne Reid. It's good so far. I needed a lighter read lately.
QOTW: I thought that Cloud Atlas was an amazing book to movie adaptation especially considering the complicated story line. I also think Memoirs of a Geisha, Stardust and Practical Magic are really good adaptions.
The Book of Speculation by Erika Swyler. It's quite enjoyable. The blurbs have lots of comparisons to The Night Circus, but it's really nothing like that.

I just finished A Tree Grows in Brooklyn. I really liked it. I will finish listening to The Goldfinch next weekend because I have a long car trip planned. I have liked what I have listened to so far.
I just finished The Millionaire Next Door by Thomas Stanley, and just started Paycheck for Life by Charles Epstein. I'm obviously on a personal finance kick right now.

I'm reading A Little Princess. I'm really not enjoying it as much as I thought I would. I loved The Secret Garden, but this one just isn't grabbing me. The best part of it for me is my copy has Tasha Tudor illustrations, but other than that, it's a meh book for me.
QOTW: I really think the best adaptation I've seen has been the Hallmark Hall of Fame version of Sarah, Plain and Tall. The book was short on details and the movie really flushed it out for me.
I am reading That Kill Order, prequel in The Maze Runner series. I like it and have enjoyed the series, but it seems more violent than the first three. I am going to need some fluff afterwards!
