I have a huge pimple on my cheek that is not pretty
We grabbed breakfast out this morning and I got a cranberry juice...not something I normally get but it just sounded good. Then I realized it had 65g of sugar in it!
I had a pimple behind my ear the last few days.....ick.
One of my new hires didn't show up for her second day of orientation.....she emailed me at 7:40 and I see the message until almost an hour later due to sourcing nurses. Crap. She's claiming a car accident. Sigh....
HoneySpider- I tried some cranblackberry juice this weekend and it was really good, I normally hate anything cranberry.
MrsMB- if it was a car accident I hope everyone's ok. Wouldn't you call though instead of email if you weren't going to be into work? I know I would call.
I'm exhausted from my weekend, I need a holiday from our camping trip. If was so much fun but relaxing can be hard. Lol

I'm running on fumes and I just want to be home with lo. Lo got sick twice last night, and then spiked a fever of 101. Thankfully it lowered after giving her a fever reducer. I bought her into bed with me, a twin sized bed, she's like sleeping with Jean-Claude Van Damn. I was going to call out, but when I called my supv her voice mail reminded that she's out today and my big boss was going to be in late, so I had to leave lo with my mother and go into work. Oh and I started to get sick yesterday myself.
My fingers have been swollen when I get up in the mornings. I couldn't get my work ring on this morning (I wear a plain silver band to work instead of my wedding set). My wedding set and college ring still fit, although with some difficulty. My fingers tend to shrink throughout the day though.

One would think...she's not answering my call. There are certain types of candidates that don't practice as much professionalism as others. She falls in that category. She was late yesterday to her first day too....hence my lack of belief in her story.

I just realized I have 2 weeks of vacation time saved up! The bad news is I don't want to use any of it because if I get pg I will have to use it for maternity leave.
I have an appointment at the doctor at 3:30 for bloodwork. I'm dreading this because I'm worried the doctor will say something terribly offensive/hurtful to me. She has in the past. Her bedside manner is awful and I know she drives a lot of patients away, but I have to get this done before I can get a new doc and have an ultrasound etc.
H has to travel for work on Thursday and is miserable about it. Both of us are exhausted. My dog had the runs all night and whined to go out. I made her some rice but I'm not sure it helped. Also a pigeon crashed into the window in the middle of the night and woke us up. And then, after it got its bearings and flew away, it crashed into the window AGAIN! Such a loud thud, I don't know how it survived.

@moonbeam You've got this! No matter what she says (btw, what is wrong with her?!) just remember this is the last time you see her before going to your new doctor!

I left my work clothes hanging in the ladies' locker room at the gym last night. How does that happen? Absent minded, party of one here. Hopefully they are still there tonight.
I have a seriously fussy baby on my hands today. She is crying crying crying and I want to cry. Taking lots of deep breaths over here and hoping to find something soothing soon.

DS is 1 month today!! I can't believe it!! Time goes by so fast!! That also means ML is (more than) half over. Also, he grunts all night and it's hard to sleep. Might be time to move to his crib, but he's still so little!

Ditto. The only time he stopped crying was during grocery shopping. I finally have him napping, but if he wakes up crabby I am tempted just to go back and walk at the store since that made him happy. I hate not knowing why a kid is upset
My appointment was just a blood draw and I'm so relieved! I didn't need to talk to the doc at all. The nurse dug around in my arm with the needle, but that's okay lol. I'll get the results on Friday.
This doctor berates people for things. She was also MIL's doctor until MIL couldn't take it anymore and switched. She says things like "Aren't you smart enough to know better?" and the like.

More randoms for the day- 1. I found my clothes from yesterday at the gym. 2. The new home owners found the print I ordered on etsy and actually gave it back with a smile! 3. I'm eating cereal for dinner while chicken bakes for H. I'm kind of eating it inconspicuously because I imagine he will give me grief about needing something more nutritious.

I got to I hang out with krystee and her cute baby this afternoon! It was great to have see her and meet baby J. Btw, I realized we didn't take a pic, so we'll have to do it again.

I would be jealous, but because there's no picture it didn't happen, so nothing to be jealous about.
