That's exciting!! Are some of the same people still there?
I just bought tickets to a freak show. I'm planning on taking the kids on Monday. I think we'll also hit Ripley's Believe It or Not museum as well. Nothing says family fun like human oddities!
Having coffee with MT tomorrow night. I'm apprehensive about this.

doriswe, most of the people left and went to work for the partner company that we did the project with. But I suspect that they would get office space in the same location so even if I wasn't working with them, I'm sure I would see them there.
chalupa, I laughed at your HB riding comment yesterday. I thought I heard of an earthquake being reported in your area

Good luck Bully! It's Election Day for my state so I'm going to pick my kid up after work and take him to vote with me. We will probably go have a snack or something afterward before its homework time.
"This prick is asking for someone here to bring him to task Somebody give me some dirt on this vacuous mass so we can at last unmask him I'll pull the trigger on it, someone load the gun and cock it While we were all watching, he got Washington in his pocket."

Me? I broke up with my old trainer and am happily at a much lower-key (and lower cost!) barn. Their lesson horses aren't anywhere near as fancy/capable, but that's giving me a lot more experience in training the horse I'm riding. I'm toying with the idea of buying. My current obsession this week is this guy, who apparently isn't working out as an amish buggy horse. He happens to be the same breed I first learned to ride when I was about 7:
This is what I am finding, too! The lesson horses at my current barn do most everything I want, even if I fuck up and give them mixed signals. At the current barn, if I fuck up, they stop and look at my like "lady, WHAT are you doing??"
Muddled, I'm taking lessons at both, lol. I want to give it a few weeks to see if I really like this new trainer as much as I think I do.
I'm good, working away on stuff, going home tonight to pack my kitchen. This morning after class I went through my fridge and drained/recycled all the expired condiments. I'm ashamed I had mustard from 2013 hidden in the back. I guess I didn't care for that kind of mustard. It's bittersweet moving. Our old house is all echoy now.
Confession: I have a tick. I once thought I shut my garage door and walked back to work. I don't know if it didn't shut or opened back up on a fluke. I left it wide open with the door to the house unlocked for two hours. So now I have to walk back to make sure it is shut. Yesterday I was at the new house dropping of paint and left. I knew I shut the garage door but last night at 10:38 I couldn't stop thinking did I? So I got up drove over and just looked. It was shut, I went back home crawled back in bed and my H had no clue, I even left.
I'm good today! I brought healthy stuff to eat all day and feel good about that. I'm going to barre again today and I'm noticing a change in my body for the good (in terms of posture). Also, since my last post about RG I'm feeling more relaxed and more confident. Apparently I needed to remind myself that I'm awesome and he's still "earning" his place in my life.
We had a lockdown drill at work today and then I had to teach a social skills class which ended up going really well and now I'm feeling energized.

You two-timing hussy! I'm glad the new place seems to be working out.
I saw my belly move today. All on its own. And not because of my pulse.

I'm starting to have major anxiety about the move. Choosing a date, getting all of the medical records, doing my post-partum check ups and asking my docs for recommendations for other docs. Throw all of that on top of exhaustion and I'm a mess.
On the plus Baby Boy is doing well and PF is getting more used to him.
We're settling in here, but whoa it's weird/nice to be all in one place again. I'm working hard to try and get caught up, but we were down for 4 days.
And, our fun news is that we're having our graduation at a brewery. Not sure who planned it, but one of our graduates is Mormon. This should make things entertaining.
Thanks ... I think it's because my period started today. For some reason the first day always leaves me feeling weird and icky, but I never remember what's causing the feeling until it actually starts.

I'm always super sensitive the day before, but after that I'm ok. It's strange.

I have decided I want to get a tattoo of a blue bird...but I can't figure out where to put it. I love the water color style tattoos, but all the examples I've seen have been fairly large. I just want something small - maybe on my shoulder blade?
Where would you put a tattoo if you really wanted it but knew you would have to be able to cover it up?
ETA: For example, I LOVE THIS (but I don't think I'm ready for a whole back piece yet):
ETAA: I like this sort of thing too...but I want some color

Mine is going to be relatively small and on my arm. It will be up toward my shoulder, so if I have to I can throw on a short sleeved cardigan or something to cover it up.

These are BEAUTIFUL.
in the next several years, when I have more discretionary income, I'd like to fix one of my current tats and then get a new one. A hummingbird, to honor my grandmother. She loooved hummingbirds. Not sure where it would go yet, but I'm considering a shoulder blade.

Guys! A lady in my community group said "I thought if you when we were at softball last night. I thought "Hey, we're near her." You should come to the next game, there's a lot of us there. It's fun". I'm a little squee about it and I maybe shouldn't be but I am. She's like one of the cool kids and she wants me to hang out.
