I don't think there is anything I loathe more than choosing outfits for family pics. Here's what I'm leaning towards.

Mine is a dress I've had for ages... will I be annoyed at the Ikat pattern over time?

Dh will wear jeans and a solid button down. Color suggestions? I was thinking pale pink.

Yes I'll iron.

Not a fan of the ikat design. I would go with a blue or white shirt for your husband as opposed to pink.

Stick with the pink for your DH. White is good in prints for photos like the dress you have, but not solids. It will draw the viewers eye to your DH's shirt whenever he is not behind someone limiting poses. I would go with a more subdued dress for yourself since the ikat is really competing with the girl's dresses right now. Do you have something that pulls from the colors in their dresses with a neutral border? That would be really good. Something in kelly green with white accents or fuchsia with white or navy trim?

I like this much better. I try and wear a solud color and let ds be the one pattern. He's small enough that the pattern gives enough visual interest but it's not a sea of pattern if it were on me or dh.

I think it's a little too fancy if your DH is going to be in jeans. Can he wear trousers instead?

I think the jeans could work if he wore a sport coat. I think lindsaymg 's DH pulled off that look for family pics a few years ago really well.

I like the chambray. You can do some fun accessories and with him in something like pink it will look great. A bright wedge or flat sandal would be perfect with that dress or even a metallic.

I would put your DH in a kelly green (or whatever the color of the leaves are in one of your DD's dresses) and then you wear the espadrilles.
