I called in this morning that I'd be in late. I haven't been feeling great the past couple of days and didn't sleep very well last night (even after taking 2 Benedryl). I was hoping to sleep a bit longer after getting DDs on the bus, but I'm not sleepy anymore. Do I force it or suck it up and get ready to go in now?

That's what sick time is for, rest up! I'm so worn out from visitors. I am thankful that everyone is so excited to meet the baby but having people over all the time is getting to me. Thank god there's no one lined up to come today so I can just lounge around with my boobs out when I need to.

I bought the "Women's Health - Big Book of Workouts" last week and yesterday I did Workout A from the "Hard Body Workout" and oh my goodness!! So sore today!! I went to the gym this morning and did a 10 minute circuit and I'll go and do cardio at lunch.
I'm trying to think of things I want to do on my 3 day weekend. If I don't plan something I'll just binge watch a tv show and then feel like I didn't do anything. Maybe I'll get a massage.
I am finally starting to really feel like I am getting better. Still a bit congested and need the inhaler, but an overall improvement. With that said I think tonight I will try and go for a walk and maybe do some light body weight exercises like squats and push-ups. I still have trouble breathing a bit, so I don't want to push it too hard, but I need to get back into working out.
I have Friday off, work Saturday, have Sunday off, and work on Memorial day. I always have to work one summer holiday and I usually choose Memorial day, so I can have the other two off.
Well I ended up going in to work an hour late. I laid down for a bit and couldn't get back to sleep so I got ready and came in. I'll probably crash later.
Work is actually super stressful right now but I'm trying my best not to get wrapped up in it. I'm like THIS is why I'm leaving. Trying to relax and not get sucked in.
Meanwhile still trying work the other job in the morning and after with. Gah! I need this job to just end already.

Grades were posted yesterday and I made 2 A's and 1 B. I am a bit disappointed with the B, but with everything I went through this semester, I really can't complain. Overall GPA was a 3.67!

starburst604 She is absolutely gorgeous! Definitely take time for the two (or three) of you. If your company isn't there to help then they need to wait a while before visiting. And by helping, I mean cooking, cleaning, grocery shopping, that kind of stuff. Not holding the baby while you work. Just tell them that you guys need time to adjust to being a family, and you will get the word out when you're open for visitors. You just had a baby, you should be able to leave your breasts free in your own home!
This weekend is J's birthday, and I have no idea what to do for him. When I asked him he told me nothing because he doesn't want me to spend money on him. Blergh. Men are difficult!
Well, we had our first road trip in the same car (we usually meet up places) and didn't kill each other. And I only made him marginally crazy by talking. He just left for work and I miss him already. That's good, right? I have my first day of nothing pressing to do today and I'm really excited, and at the same time I'm wondering what to do all day. Lol.

So the date I went on last night went surprisingly well. It was a little awkward at first, and ended a little heavy, but all in all, a good three hours.
The guy is finishing Med school and graduates next week, so he is out of town until the first of June, so we shall see if a second date happens.
I called the boss guy of the vinyl company because his employees aren't being responsive. I know it's a small job but they said they could do it in my budget and now I need it done. I hope they aren't going to be jerks about it.
I had a presentation this morning and it went well. Tonight I am doing a painting and wine thing with some friends. I'm already tired since I was up at 5 and know I won't be home until well after 10pm.
I really wanted to call in sick today. The idea of a lazy day at home sounded sooo good at 5am. But, I rallied and came in.
Hung out with the bestie last night. We went for a walk, then grabbed dinner & drinks at a bar. Always good to spend some quality time with her.
Tonight I'm babysitting. It's supposed to be nice, once the fog burns off. Not sure what we'll do., but I feel like I should take advantage of the sunny weather.

My throat is still hurting. I plan to rest my voice today and hopefully it will help it recover quickly. It feels more like strain than sickness.
Last night was my Saturday night and my roommate and I went out on the town. I went out with the goal to have fun and I met a guy who danced with me and then we had a goodnight kiss. He's texted me already, so that's a nice feeling. I'm proud of myself for just relaxing and allowing myself to have a good time, because I actually did!

I've just had the most insane past 2 months at work and we finally just had a big wrap up to the insane-ness yesterday, so now we can get onto the "regular crazy" for the next months.
I've spent most of the morning researching tattoos (I know what I want for one of them, I'm just not set on where)

Only one more work day this week then it's a 4 day weekend with lots of preparations for the race on Sunday. Can't wait!
I will be in my office on Saturday to be the building monitor while a group rents the school, but that won't be too bad because I should be the only one here and I can work on payroll. That's even better because now I can spend my Friday partying for Carb Day. Woohoo!
I need to get back on track with walking and drinking water. Vegas is in 5 weeks!!!

For years, I've wanted the phrase "Ishvarna Pradnihana", which is a yoga principle that basically means "surrender yourself the greater power" (could be God, or not GOd or whatever your idea of a "higher power" is) I's sort of reminder to let go and sometimes you don't have control over it all. I first read about it when I was going through my divorce and it hit home.
I just never decide what font or exactly where I want it...either my inner hip (near other tattoos I have there), the arch of my foot, or now I'm sorta digging right along my side ribcage under my bra line.
How have you prepared it? Arbonne protein is so far the best I've tried IMO.

I'll give it a try minus the chocolate. I need something to tame down the cake batter sweetness flavor. Maybe the almond milk would work better than regular milk.
