I am in a major funk and my latest resolution is to focus out instead of in. Here goes, feel free to add yours!
Brie I am amazed at what a strong and determined advocate you are for your kids. And your ability to remain upbeat in the face of all this adversity is really what is the most inspiring.
@fivedogs Thank you for tirelessly giving recommendations for car seat safety. I'm sure that many kids have benefited from your guidance. I appreciate your anecdotes other than just car seats and wanted you to know that also!
Along those lines AmyRI Thank you for your continuous support and BFing advice without any judgement. Sharing your stories has helped not only me but many others here.
Velar Fricative My heart goes out to you in so many ways. I have always believed you were smart, kind and funny but your grace is truly amazing. Having 2 unplanned pregnancies around the same time made me relate to you so much that I can tell you your news was the first time I actually cried about an internet stranger. In the non-creepiest way possible, I think about you almost every day and wish you peace.
water*drop I hope your baby boy shows up today!!! Fingers crossed for a short labor with no complications. I am pulling for you that DS is a unicorn sleeper with a very mild temperament.

I am just here to say that I think you are all awesome. I can never remember screen names, but I love the broad perspective that this board offers on all topics.
I have a ton but I just want to thank everyone who stuck up for me when all the drama went down, especially pugz, @marshmallows, and redheadk who were sweet enough to reach out to me on Facebook. I feel like you are my "mom's group now," I can't quit this place

I've never been happier for someone I've never met than when HoneySpider announced her BFP. I smile every times she posts on MMM and I get to see her ticker.
I just want to thank everyone who has kindly let me bitch and/or wallow in self pity and still been nice to me. I would especially like to thank robyn who has gone out of her way to try and help/support me.
And I want to say how much I enjoy the activities with the KC group. And especially the organizing efforts of our unofficial social chair, pugz
I could say lots of nice things about how awesome all of the KC ladies are, but it will just make the rest of you jealous;)
Thanks, you're so sweet @republicrat. I'm glad that sharing my experiences has helped others. And I'll thank you and everyone else that shares BFing advice and stories, because it really is a community effort. I've learned above all else that no one person has all the answers.
I appreciate all of @starry's posts about leaning in at work while balancing family. You've got the self-confidence to know that you can make it happen in both venues and I'm totally jealous.
I'm glad @tokenhoser is here - she gets me and my parenting style and I can always count on her to understand how I think and feel.
I'm also grateful for all the MOOKs that are a reminder that my toddler problems are just a phase, and give a glimpse into life with bigger kids. Willis Jacksoncjeanette and drloretta stand out in my mind, but I know there are others and I'm just blanking on names and I apologize!

Aww you're so sweet (heart) Much love to everyone on this board for being so caring & supportive
I think Brie has managed the curveballs thrown her way with grace. You advocate for your children in an amazing way, and I hope that if I have to do so for Piper one day, I will be able to do so.
Velar Fricative You have been on my mind a lot (in a totally not creepy way), and I sincerely wish you the best as you recover from the ordeal.
But I really enjoy TamiTaylor's commitment to posting in character. Her list of suggested boys names that was like, "Eric, Tim, Jason, Smash" still cracks me up.
oceanspray always make me literally lol with her gif choices.
mannah, who suffered through some seemingly never-ending version of the 6 month wakeful with me. She also taught me the ever-handy shushing over the monitor trick. While I'm sorry she had to go through it, it was so helpful to be able to vent to her and share ideas on how to get our kids to sleep.
cricketwife because she's always so kind and encouraging. I will never forget that she reached out to me when I was thisclose to giving up BF'ing in the early days. I read her sweet message more than once in those early days.
Mine is the KC ladies too, although I have only met a few so far (Briepugz @kcpokergal fortmyersbridecjeanette). But they have been so welcoming to me, a relative newcomer into their group. I needed new mom friends and am so glad I have had the opportunity to make some through MMM.
My other one is MMM in general. I have learned SO MUCH here. Seriously, this site makes me a better wife and mom. It puts me in check, it boosts me up, it inspires me and it gives me a different perspective on things when I need it. It also gives me a place for a five minute mental break, and the amazing shopping deals I learn about here justify my constant breaking of my self imposed spending freeze
My last one is hillarywhitney, although she isn't really around much anymore. She was such an awesome GD buddy to me when we were on GP together last year. I miss your posts girl, come back!! I hope you and DS are doing great.

Your commitment to EPing and working with DS to nurse is awesome! You are doing great lady, and I hope some of what I was able to get you was helpful. If you need anything else or just need to bitch you know I'm happy to listen and help.

Oh my gosh, I really thought her DH's name was Eric, as I have never watched FNL. Haha, this realization is so pathetic. TamiTaylor

I thought the same thing for the same reasons. Lolol
Thanks so much, guys. I certainly do not feel like I have it all together and I'm still terrified, a lot. But I don't really have a choice, so, onward we go.
You all have been wonderful, but I especially want to say thanks to those who have also faced big diagnoses with their kids (laurenhlongtimenopostKaraOrNot @kar) and those who have offered up their varied professional expertise (pugzfortmyersbrideosuloriceliacmom). It is the coolest thing to have a circle of friends who are all able to contribute in different ways. We are really lucky.
@fivedogs is so patient with all the car seat questions and I've learned so much from her posts. A friend on FB posted a car seat question and my first thought was to tag you, lol.
simpsongal- You have always been so supportive of me. Thanks for being there through our husbands' post law school unemployment, morning sickness, etc. I hope you get pregnant just when you want to and have a super easy pregnancy.
@simpledog- You made me feel better when I was pulling some long hours, even if you didn't realize it.
bunnymendelbaum- You seem awesome and I love your commitment to Detroit. I hope to meet you soon.
@pnkybrwstr and @ffbride0813 are my favorite mom friends. Seriously, getting together with them is so easy and fun and I can be myself without them thinking I'm crazy or weird.
I always love @kirkette and page advice on things (even when it's not for me)
I'm so excited for farmvillelover 's baby. I hope that doesn't sound creepy.
Thank you. I have had a shitastic day. I kind of needed this. I think you are great as well. You are so real and a blast to hang out with.

Thanks, @republicrat. I've had a crappy day, and you made me smile. And thank you for always being supportive of me. It's nice to have somebody who gets what I'm feeling.
I'm trapped under crazy children and having a generally rough time so thanks a lot for kind words today. I am grateful for them. Will try to be more specific someday when chaos decreases.
