H and I have 2 long car trips coming up (10+ hours) and we like listening to Audio Books to pass the time...any recs? We've already listened to (and enjoyed) Bossy Pants, the latest Dan Brown book and the Amy Poehler book.
I'm listening to Game of Thrones right now. I couldn't commit the time to actually reading the books, but I like the TV show and it's a good way to kill travel time.

I loved World War Z as an audio book. Much different than the movie. Just listened to Orphan Train and it was great. Have also listened to two Lianne Moriarty books - The Husband's Secret and What Alice Forgot. Not groundbreaking, but intriguing stories that kept my interest. Oh, and I listened to Girl on the Train which was pretty good. I have a long commute

I enjoyed this one as well, it was an easy listen!

These are the last 3 audio books I've listened to! I actually really liked them all, and felt they were well narrated which is the most important thing for me with an audiobook. Sometimes I have a really hard time paying attention if the reader isn't engaging enough.

Oh yeah, I've also listened to Boys in the Boat. The story of the University of Washington rowing team that rowed in the Berlin Olympics. LOVED that book, and I think it's easier to listen to than it is to read.

I just finished the Rosie Project. It would be a good one for a car trip with my DH, and is lighthearted and fun. The Goldfinch was also good and very long, but very dark. If your into exercise, Born to Run, a hidden tribe... Is also good for both sexes. I liked Orphan Train, as someone else suggested, but my DH would not.

I want to read the Rosie PRoject! I'll see if that's something he wants to listen to.
