1. This year has gone by so fast! And yet those newborn nights seem SO long ago. How can it be fast and slow at the same time?
2. DD is big into pointing at everything, and he does the most hilarious Luigi-like running in the air when we pick her up. She just kicks her little legs so fast. (she's not walking or standing independently yet though)
3. Still AM and PM naps, and she's a pretty good napper; much better than she used to be, that's for sure! I'm hoping to keep up the 2 nap schedule for as long as possible.
4. Finger foods: eggs, broccoli, beans, zucchini, noodles, cheese, avocado, blueberries, grapes, banana, spanish rice, cauliflower, etc. etc. She's a really good eater, and loves tons of food. I'm enjoying it while it lasts. And I'm planning to wean in the next month, since I'll be OOT twice in July for 3-4 days each time.
5. Um, we still don't have a plan, even though it's less than two weeks away. So, no party, I guess. All our family is OOT, so we might just do a little celebration. We'll probably send her to daycare, too, since it's a weekday.
6. No comment. I used to think TTC with a 1 year old was insane, but . . . um . . . DD is SO ADORABLE that now I kinda want another one super soon.
Thanks for starting this post! I've been thinking about y'all as first birthdays are approaching.
1. How are things going? Has the year gone by fast or slow? I'd say slow as molasses for the first four-ish months, then fast thereafter. This coincides with my going back to work but also with M becoming really fun to hang out with, so that our days no longer feel like drudgery.
2. What fun things is your LO doing right now? He is learning to wave goodbye, but he mostly waves at himself. It makes me LOL. He's also mastering his sippy cup, and sometimes when he throws it back one-handed he looks like he's taking a swig from a bottle of beer.
3. What is their nap schedule like? Long morning nap, short afternoon nap. So like 9:30-12 and 3-4.
4. What are they eating these days? Any plans to wean, if applicable? He eats a shit-ton of food. Like probably half as much as I eat in a day. He's not nursing a whole lot, maybe 4x/day. BF is really easy right now, so I have no plans to push weaning. I wouldn't be surprised if he self-weans or drops to two sessions in the next few months.
5. What are your plans for your lo's birthday? Are you throwing a party? We will have a party. No specific plans as it's still 2.5 months away.
6. Any plans to TTC again? LOLOL no. Not for a few years.

1. How are things going? Has the year gone by fast or slow? Overall things are going well. The year has gone by super fast.
2. What fun things is your LO doing right now? She started walking yesterday! She is full of personality and is very friendly.
3. What is their nap schedule like? One long nap in the afternoon and sometimes a short nap around 4pm or 5pm. She is less likely to nap on the weekends.
4. What are they eating these days? Any plans to wean, if applicable? Her favorite food is cheese. I'm looking forward to weaning. Really, I am looking forward to not pumping x3 a day. I like nursing, especially now that I got the all clear from her pedi to go on my AD.
5. What are your plans for your lo's birthday? Are you throwing a party? I feel bad because we did a huge party for DS's first birthday and I have nothing planned for C. I am in total denial that she is turning 1. I think we may have a few people over for lunch and have a cake.
6. Any plans to TTC again? Nope. We are done at 2.
1. This has been the longest and shortest year of my life. Overall I love being a mom more than I ever could have imagined. G has turned me into a big softie.
2. Starting to talk! Dog was his first word and then book. Still waiting on mama and dada to have some meaning. He's also started taking his first steps! I say it every month, but this is my favorite age. His personality is coming out and being able to communicate with each other is so fun.
3. One to two naps at daycare. Two or three on the weekends, or one to two epic naps. He was with my parents this past Friday and napped for FOUR hours.
4. He still takes 12 oz of BM at dayacre and nurses 4x with me. Eats the daycare-prepared lunch, two solid meals, and a snack at daycare. Plus a solid breakfast and dinner at home. He loves to eat and we're trying to cut down on the baby food and stick to table food.
I plan on quitting pumping next month, wahoo! No plans to wean from nursing for the foreseeable future. He rarely asks to nurse, so we'll see how it goes.
5. We're having a b-day party back at my parents' house in July 4th (his b-day is June 16). While I would prefer to have it at our house, having it there means more relatives will be able to come. I'm bummed his two friends from daycare won't be there, though.
We'll actually be at the beach the week of his b-day with my family, so that will be fun.
6. I'm ready now, lol! We want another summer baby so will probably ttc in the fall. I would like to get my IUD out next month. H is 95% on board with my plan.
1. How are things going? Has the year gone by fast or slow? Things are going really well! This year has flown by. I can't even put into words how fast it has gone for me.
2. What fun things is your LO doing right now? OMG she is so damn fun. She pulls herself up on anything (last night she tried to pull up on the dog); thinks coughs and sneezes are hilarious and fakes them both all the time just to laugh at herself; does this awesome Horseshack (from Welcome Back Kotter) laugh, and also this "eh eh eh" kind of fake laugh; loves to feed herself by shoving as much as she can fit in her little hand at a time into her mouth; strokes our face when we pick her up; has bypassed giving kisses and instead has started licking people (it's weird); and waves bye bye by flapping her whole arm around.
3. What is their nap schedule like? She takes a short nap around 9, usually about 30-45 minutes. She takes a long nap around 12:30, usually about 2 hours. About half the time she also takes a short nap, 15-30 minutes in the evening around 6.
4. What are they eating these days? Any plans to wean, if applicable? Still EBF with pumped bottles while I'm at work. She nurses at 7, has 3 oz bottles at 9, 11, 2 and 4, has a pouch plus the fruit and vegetable being served at daycare at 12, nurses at home at 6, has dinner with us at 7 (she just eats what we eat for the most part, with a few modifications sometimes), and nurses at 8 then off to bed. No plans to wean, but I will stop pumping when she turns 1.
5. What are your plans for your lo's birthday? Are you throwing a party? Our party plans are kind of up in the air. Our house is tiny, and we are looking to move to a larger house but not sure when that is going to be. I think I am going to see if I can have the party at my dad and step mom's house so I can start planning. If they say no, I may rent an inexpensive room at the community center.
I will have to come back to this b/c I have 80 things that need to be done right now. But I just wanted to answer #6 with a HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA. I just got a call that my IUD will be at my doctor's office on Friday. I am DONE!
2. DD is big into pointing at everything, and he does the most hilarious Luigi-like running in the air when we pick her up. She just kicks her little legs so fast. (she's not walking or standing independently yet though)
I want to see the Luigi air running! We need a video of that. DD loves to lay on her back and wave her arms and kick her legs as fast and hard as possible. She looks like a turtle stuck on her back.

1. How are things going? Has the year gone by fast or slow? A little of both, it's dragging but I also feel like the end of my mat leave is approaching so fast. He's almost 9 months.
2. What fun things is your LO doing right now? So close to crawling. He can go in every direction except forwards. He says mum mum all the time (you know, whining when I leave the room)
3. What is their nap schedule like? He takes a 2hr nap at 7am and a 1ish hour nap around 1pm. Sometimes he still needs an evening cat nap.
4. What are they eating these days? Any plans to wean, if applicable? Everything I put in front of him. It's such a relief to have a kid that eats. No plans to wean.
5. What are your plans for your lo's birthday? Are you throwing a party? No plans yet, but there will be a party.
6. Any plans to TTC again? No, we're DONE. it's super difficult to get rid of all the little baby gear though.
1. How are things going? Has the year gone by fast or slow? Fast, very fast. I swear I got my BFP a couple of months ago. That said, he's kicking my ass right now.
2. What fun things is your LO doing right now? He loves to wave and dance. He blows kisses and is starting to stand independently. We predict first steps in the next couple of weeks. We continue to get stopped by every stranger we encounter so they can fawn over how cute he is. He is pretty cute and a total flirt. His babbling has picked up but he's not super interested in talking a lot.
3. What is their nap schedule like? One long nap in the middle of the day, usually 2.5-3 hours. Occasionally a quick car nap in the late afternoon.
4. What are they eating these days? Any plans to wean, if applicable? He doesn't eat a lot of table food so he still gets a lot of bottles and pouches. He just wants to feed the dogs. Daycare is helping us with this though and he gets two meals and a snack there in addition to 3 bottles. I stopped pumping at the beginning of the month when my supply finally tanked and I wasn't too interested in trying to bring it back. He still nurses before and after work and during the night if needed. No plans to stop that schedule.
5. What are your plans for your lo's birthday? Are you throwing a party? We are throwing a party and anticipate having OOT family there. I hate hosting parties, and I'm in some heavy denial that my baby is growing up, so I'm not enjoying it this far.
6. Any plans to TTC again?] The answer to this question changes daily. Until we can get some sleep in this house, TTC is off the table.
How's everyone doing? Since many of our babies have or are about to turn one -
1. How are things going? Has the year gone by fast or slow? The very beginning flew by but since I've been back at work things have been slowly moving along.
2. What fun things is your LO doing right now? Crawling, doing "tricks" like clapping, giving kisses, so big! She absolutely loves to be chased if you crawl around after her.
3. What is their nap schedule like? At home, she consistently naps around 8:30 and 1, for around 90 mins each. At daycare, the same thing has never happened twice and it's frustrating. She and I will be home together all summer so I'm looking forward to having some consistency with her schedule in the hopes it will improve our nights. She's never STTN.
4. What are they eating these days? Any plans to wean, if applicable? DD drinks 4 5 0z bottles at 6:30, 9:00, 12:30 and 6:15. She nurses around 3:30. She doesn't eat overnight anymore but still wakes up. I will stop pumping at the end of June and just nurse when we're home for the summer. I don't plan to pump anymore when I head back to work in September right after DD's 1st birthday, but I'll still nurse as long as I can.
5. What are your plans for your lo's birthday? Are you throwing a party? We are going to have a party at my inlaws house. They live in the same town as we do but their house and yard is bigger.
6. Any plans to TTC again? Not at the moment. I'd like to be reliably STTN before considering TTC.
1. How are things going? Has the year gone by fast or slow?
Great! She is such a delight. The year has gone by SO fast! But I agree that those newborn days seem so long ago. One of my best friends had a baby last Monday and I can't believe how tiny and how floppy she is. DD seems like a full on adult in comparison.
2. What fun things is your LO doing right now?
Waving. Clapping. Pulling up and cruising. Babbling. Laughing. STTN. She loves turning the pages of books when we read. She wakes up happy.
No real words and no independent steps.
3. What is their nap schedule like?
Changing! She is in the process of dropping her morning nap! For a long time she woke up around 7am and morning nap started by 8:30. For the last week, she has been waking up between 8 and 9 and then only taking one nap. A long one in the afternoon. Bedtime is still 7:30.
She did this with no encouragement from us, but it's good because in June she starts transitioning to the next daycare room and they only nap once a day there.
4. What are they eating these days? Any plans to wean, if applicable?
OMG she eats everything. Anything and everything except honey and WCM. Where to even start? Big hits are cheese and pasta and blueberries. She does well with chicken, pork, steak, noodles, quesadillas, vegetables and fruit of all kinds. She has had calamari and duck and sushi. She gets the lunches at schools and usually does well with them. She has always preferred finger foods and was a natural candidate for BLW
She was weaned at 4.5m but still drinks formula bottles
5. What are your plans for your lo's birthday? Are you throwing a party?
Yes! A post-nap cookout in our yard on 7/5. Theme is Hungry Caterpillr- that's all I've got at this point.
6. Any plans to TTC again?
Yes. Current plan is 3 years apart so TTC in summer/fall 2016
1. How are things going? Has the year gone by fast or slow? Things are going really well - the time has flown, though it didn't always feel that way in the moment
2. What fun things is your LO doing right now? She has just started waving, but it's not consistent. Still cruising, but letting go a little more often. She loves to mimic sounds and noises, which can be pretty funny
3. What is their nap schedule like? Morning nap around 8:30 and afternoon nap around 1.
4. What are they eating these days? Any plans to wean, if applicable? Solids are finally working! She loves ham, sausage, chicken, but hates beef. Oatmeal, yogurt, Cheerios, and pretty much any kind of fruit or cheese is also a hit.
5. What are your plans for your lo's birthday? Are you throwing a party? I have GOT to send my invites. Small party (I hope a few people can come!) on the Sunday before, for brunch. Nothing too crazy, lol.
6. Any plans to TTC again? Yup. Hoping to start around August or so. H has come around completely now that L is so much fun!
i don't post around MMMoms as much (it moves so fast!) as i did on GotPregnant, but i read the board quite often.
1. How are things going? Has the year gone by fast or slow? both! so fast at first, slow now but that's because work is one giant drag at the moment.
2. What fun things is your LO doing right now? he does a weird leg side swipe thing instead of a traditional crawl, but he's really fast! otherwise just starting to enjoy a lot more table/finger food and is always exploring everything. he loves people watching so it pretty easy to keep entertained when out and about so far which is nice.
3. What is their nap schedule like? we aren't really schedule people, more of a routine. we aim for two naps on weekend days, one at home and one when we are out and about usually. daycare has been getting him down for one long one (1-1.5 hours, sometimes 2) lately, but if its a one nap day there he usually falls asleep in the car on the way home and then gets another 30-40 minutes in.
4. What are they eating these days? Any plans to wean, if applicable? still BF and pumping. i will pump to get him through to one year then stop pumping. i will nurse him morning and night and weekends for a bit still though, i just can't wait to be done with the pump. as for food he's starting to get more adventurous. we send a puree and yogurt to daycare everyday but have has them start giving him their menu food too and he seems to be enjoying trying new things. he loves cheese and yogurt, sweet potato, bread, peas. we just keep trying new things to see what he likes!
5. What are your plans for your lo's birthday? Are you throwing a party? we are having a few parties, but only because we will be traveling and near family just before his birthday. we will do a family party on our trip, just a picnic, very informal. let him smash a cupcake, etc. nothing crazy. also just an excuse to have a party and have everyone see him at once while we are in town. we will do a smaller party at our house the weekend after his birthday - friends and such, no other kids really. this one is more celebrating for us that we kept him alive for a year, ha!
6. Any plans to TTC again? we have decided this will be discussed after his first birthday. tabling all thoughts until then.
Who has a last week of July baby? I feel like there were three or four of us clustered pretty close together: me, anna7602 (first week of August babies) and who else?

6. Any plans to TTC again?
1. I love this age. The first few months were so slow and tough, but now it's flying!
2. Fun things - I love that she claps at everything and on command. She has just gotten good at standing and cruising and wants to do it all the time. She still laughs constantly, and is very easy to make laugh. My H runs around the room for her and she thinks it's the funniest thing ever. 3. She takes a morning nap and usually an afternoon nap also. They are usually about 2.5 hours combined.
4. She hasn't met a lot of foods she doesn't like, and I let her try most things I eat. She likes ravioli a lot, turkey meatballs, avocado and banana are eaten pretty much day.
5. We are having a pretty good sized beach/pool party at FIL's house, but hoping the swimming can be the focus so I don't have to do much!
6. If you asked me in the first few months I would have leaned towards one and done, but now I am pretty sure I want to TTC #2 in about a year.

1. How are things going? Has the year gone by fast or slow? It's going great, and flying by!
2. What fun things is your LO doing right now? Being cute, pulling up all over the place, getting into EVERYTHING.
3. What is their nap schedule like? Usually two a day, but on weekends he just goes along with whatever we're doing, and sometimes only gets car naps. He's so chill.
4. What are they eating these days? Any plans to wean, if applicable? He's finally up to 4x4oz bottles at daycare, plus 2oz in his oatmeal, and usually a veggie or some type of solid. (For a while it was a struggle to get him to eat 3x 4oz bottles) I send stir fry veggies and rice a lot. At dinner he eats solids, but he's not super good at it still at 10 months, but this was the month DD started eating like a machine, so I expect he'll get better. I'm lazy a lot and just like to nurse a lot on weekends, especially if we are out and about.
5. What are your plans for your lo's birthday? Are you throwing a party? No clue yet! It's still too far off. We'll have my parents out for sure though.
6. Any plans to TTC again? No, but if I could guarantee another baby like him, if have another tomorrow. We're done though. I hate saying that.
1. How are things going? Has the year gone by fast or slow? Things are great and it has gone by pretty fast. I look at her curled up in my lap and can't believe she's so big, more like a little girl than a baby anymore.
2. What fun things is your LO doing right now? She dances a lot and waves, and babbles all the time. She stood independently the other day for a few seconds so I'm sure she'll be walking soon. She laughs a lot and has this cute cackle.
3. What is their nap schedule like? Still a short morning nap and longer afternoon, about 45 min in the morning and 1.5-2 hours in the afternoon.
4. What are they eating these days? Any plans to wean, if applicable? She eats all kinds of things but doesn't like finger foods yet except crackers. She still wants purees but will eat chunky ones at least. She has never really been one to shove stuff in her mouth. She picks up the food but just plays with it. She has started putting a spoon in her mouth so maybe we're getting closer. I'm tired of spoon feeding her! She is doing well with a sippy cup too, though I only put water in it. Still has about 5 bottles a day.
5. What are your plans for your lo's birthday? Are you throwing a party? Yes, I just started doing invitations tonight. It will just be a bbq in the backyard, nothing fancy. I'll get balloons or something but there's no theme. I went all out and got the invitations at Dollar Tree lol.
6. Any plans to TTC again? I'd like to but SO doesn't really want another so probably not unless he changes his mind. I'll be a little sad if we only have one but I feel so lucky to have had her that I'll be okay.
Who has a last week of July baby? I feel like there were three or four of us clustered pretty close together: me, anna7602 (first week of August babies) and who else?
I answered briefly above and am now drunk on a subway train and don't want to miss my stop by getting wrapped up in my phone screen. I will have to come back to this post tomorrow.
In short, My baby is AWESOME, even if he has learned to pull off his shoes and socks and throw them in the street.
1. How are things going? Has the year gone by fast or slow?
Both. These last few months have FLOWN! My little girl is just the best. Like pinotgrig said, I feel like I'm always saying "I love this age" because each new thing she does is so fun and we're in a great groove as a family of three.
2. What fun things is your LO doing right now?
Walking everywhere. She took her first steps at 9 months but didn't take off until a couple of weeks ago. She's obsessed with books and us reading to her. Last night, she figured out how to put her stacking boxes together and was so serious about it and proud once she finished. Ack, she's so awesome.
3. What is their nap schedule like?
Daycare has her on a 2-nap schedule. One at 10 a.m. and one around 2 p.m. They're about an hour each. At home, she naps 2+ hours for her first nap and fights the second one.
4. What are they eating these days? Any plans to wean, if applicable?
Everything. She OD'd on blueberries a few weeks ago, though (large piles of blueberry puke everywhere) and now can't stand them, or Greek yogurt. She weaned at 9 months but we never exclusively breast fed.
5. What are your plans for your lo's birthday? Are you throwing a party?
A party TBD. Mini source of stress right now.
6. Any plans to TTC again?
Currently not trying/not preventing. My cycle has yet to return, so I have no idea what's going on.
1. How are things going? Has the year gone by fast or slow? I remember someone told me that the first few months would go by in a haze. I fixed the moment in my head and said to myself, nope, I'll remember this. LOL, it is all hazy now.
2. What fun things is your LO doing right now? Learning to walk
3. What is their nap schedule like? Usually 3 a day, anywhere from 40-90 minutes
4. What are they eating these days? Any plans to wean, if applicable? Mostly formula with cereal, plus some fruits. I need to get serious about feeding him table food
5. What are your plans for your lo's birthday? Are you throwing a party? We're having two smallish parties, one for H's family, which is huge, and one for our local friends.

1. How are things going? Has the year gone by fast or slow? Man, it has gone by incredibly fast. I felt like my older DS's first year took an eternity, but this time around, it went by with a blink of an eye.
2. What fun things is your LO doing right now? Waving, learning to clap her hands. She definitely interacts so much more with us now than she did even a month ago. She is into EVERYTHING and our living room looks like a huge baby proofed room.
3. What is their nap schedule like? At daycare, she is down to one nap a day, from about 12:30-2:30 OR 3. At home, i usually put her down for a morning nap around 9:30 or 10 and then her afternoon nap around 1pm.
4. What are they eating these days? Any plans to wean, if applicable? Mixing formula with WM andhope to be completely off formula in a few weeks by her first birthday. SHe still likes purees but is eating a ton of table food.
5. What are your plans for your lo's birthday? Are you throwing a party? We are having a party! Just an outdoor grilling/picnic party at a local park.
6. Any plans to TTC again? God, no. We are done, done, done.
Who has a last week of July baby? I feel like there were three or four of us clustered pretty close together: me, anna7602 (first week of August babies) and who else?
Me!! July 31
I think you were the other person I was remembering from GotP.

1. How are things going? Has the year gone by fast or slow?
This year has flown by! We've been incredibly busy between the kids, the house renovations, and work that I feel like the past year has been a crazy blur.
2. What fun things is your LO doing right now?
She does this hysterical dance/wiggle thing when she's happy. I'd post a video if I could figure out how, lol. She's pulling to stand and desperately wants to walk but has not started cruising yet. She also STTN which is pretty fun for me considering neither of her sisters did this until they were 2.5!
3. What is their nap schedule like?
She's started transitioning to one long (3 hour nap) in the afternoon but some days she still needs two: one around 11 am and another around 3:30.
4. What are they eating these days? Any plans to wean, if applicable?
She gets a mix of purées and table food. She gags on anything with a thicker texture.
5. What are your plans for your lo's birthday? Are you throwing a party?
We're just having a family party at our house. The party is in about 2 weeks and the theme is the Very Hungry Caterpillar.
6. Any plans to TTC again?
Oh good lord, no, not right now. There's still a possibility of #4, but not anytime soon.

We're just having a family party at our house. The party is in about 2 weeks and the theme is the Very Hungry Caterpillar..
Let me know if you want to sell any Caterpillar party stuff when you are done!!
I am on the early end of this group but I want to play! DS just turned one.
1. How are things going? Has the year gone by fast or slow? SO FAST OMG. Just moved up to the toddler room at daycare! He is so fun and cute right now.
2. What fun things is your LO doing right now? Walking! Dancing which is the cutest thing I have ever seen. No words yet, but I think we are close.
3. What is their nap schedule like? 12-2 at daycare; either one midday nap or two short naps on the weekends.
4. What are they eating these days? Any plans to wean, if applicable? Weaned from EPing at 11.5 months. He is still getting morning and evening bottles of formula. Getting better at eating real food in between!
5. What are your plans for your lo's birthday? Are you throwing a party? Had a woodland themed party two weeks ago!
6. Any plans to TTC again? Not for another year, although I wouldn't mind sooner.
1. Things are going okay over all, but I feel like two v. one monumentally complicates everything on the work front. I now double the amount of time I miss working because my kids never get sick at the same time and DD's school events don't coincide with days I have to miss to take DS to the pediatrician, etc. And since they don't go to bed at the same time, either, I'm not nearly as productive when I try to do work in the evenings as I used to be when it was just one kid. Basically, I feel like the last thing I have time for is to work. Which is unfortunate, because I don't actually want to quit what I am doing. I just wish there were more hours in the day.
On the life front, it's also harder to manage two little people. Everyone who told me "you just do it" when I thought I wanted to be OAD for a long time is out of their freaking gourd. It requires so much juggling and patience and support. It pisses me off even more now that other people think they can give others unsolicited advice about how many kids to have.
2. What fun things is your LO doing right now?
Exploring, exploring, exploring. And he laughs at everything. It's fantastic. He has also gotten really into taking DD's toys (the non-choking hazard ones) when she isn't home and it is so apparent that he realizes he is getting away with something. My mischievous child!
3. What is their nap schedule like?
I think he may have dropped down to one nap already and I'm not sure what to think about that. Daycare got him down to a 1-nap day and now he seems to be doing the same thing on days home with me, no matter how early I try to put him down for the morning nap.
4. What are they eating these days? Any plans to wean, if applicable?
He eats all kinds of foods, but is starting to demonstrate food aversions. Yesterday, he ate kale chips, though, which was fun to watch. He had never had anything with that crunchy a texture before and the look on his face was great.
No plans to wean, although I may introduce some formula or goat's milk at 11 months when we're out of town for the month, far from my freezer stash. (No WCM anytime soon since DH, DD and I are all lactose-intolerant and I just don't feel like finding out yet if DS is.)
5. What are your plans for your lo's birthday? Are you throwing a party?
We'll have a big party in August, but haven't set the date yet, much to my family's annoyance. People are trying to make their summer travel plans. I get it. But I just haven't had time yet to sit down and put much thought into what date works best for everyone.
I rarely post here, but I loved reading these so why not
1. How are things going? Has the year gone by fast or slow?
This has been the fastest year of my life! I've loved each stage more than the last. She is just so fun, sweet, and has been a joy since day 1.
2. What fun things is your LO doing right now?
I love this age! She is crawling, pulling up and cruising, dances, waves at everyone (an adorable little pageant wave, lol), blows kisses backwards, loves doing raspberries on us, and her new thing when we aren't talking to her is to get under our face and and tilt her head back and forth until she has our attention...she started doing this to strangers too and it cracks people up!
3. What is their nap schedule like?
She usually wakes around 9 and her first nap is the longest, usually from 11-1230. She will have another one in the afternoon, around an hour. Bedtime is at 8.
4. What are they eating these days? Any plans to wean, if applicable?
Still breastfeeds and has pumped milk while I'm at work. She loves real food and eats pretty much what we eat. Her favorites are strawberries, watermelon, and avocado. Not a fan of goat cheese and the texture of eggs has always bothered her. No plans to wean, but I plan on stopping pumping at work after a year.
5. What are your plans for your lo's birthday? Are you throwing a party?
We will have a party at home and I'm already stressing that our house is too small, lol. It's going to be loosely based on the Dr. Seuss book "Oh, the Places You'll Go!"
6. TTC plans?
We definitely want another, but probably won't start trying until she is at least 2.
