I'm so mad. Typically I get in every other year so this would have been my year but nope! I was hoping to make it my big comeback from injury. I blame the record number of residents and obviously my H, who got in and clearly took my place in this beloved race.

Sorry to those that didn't get in. I got in and I was shocked because because of the record number of Falmouth residents and also because we signed up as a group and either we all got in or none of us got in.
ETA This year will be my first year running it and it's always been a bucket list race for me.

As JEALOUS as I am... I hope you have a blast! It is honestly one of my favorite races to run. The energy that the fellow runners and spectators have is contagious. It's fun to see spectators lining the entire route and spraying you off if needed, playing live music, and offering cheers and high fives.
I'm looking into a few numbers for nonprofits to see if they have any numbers left. The thought of raising $1000+ by August is a bit daunting.

Someone from my local running group said that Children's had only filled half of their slots. The Martin Richard Foundation is accepting applications as well. If you have a number you can run with them if you pay the administrative fee so I may do that. I ran with them for the BAA 5K and it was an amazing experience.
