This entire day is overtime and I'm so sleepy. There is so much packing to do in the next 6 days and I have to go the dentist for my last appointment today (2 and half hours of drilling, ugh).
First day I have had a decent night's sleep all week, and I feel like I can conquer the world. However, this means I am not focused at all because I want to do All the Fun Stuff, and not deal with the pile of work on my desk until 4pm.
I ran around the house before I left this morning taking "before" pictures of all our cluttered rooms full of random construction crap and god knows what and furniture in weird places. By Tuesday they should all look wildly different. I'm so excited for this! I reeeeeally hope it all goes smoothly and at no point do I want to smother my husband.
My kitty is sick and we may have to put her down, so I'm a little sad today. She's older 11 years, but not old. My other cat lived till he was 20, so I wasn't really mentally prepared for this. I feel just awful for her.
2curlydogs - that dress screams evening to me. I'd do something else for the mass.
Yeah...
This is my problem. I'm not finding a happy medium that I like. I don't want to do black. But it seems like a dress that would be appropriate for mass is too casual for reception, and a dress for reception is too fancy for mass.

"Not gonna lie; I kind of keep expecting you to post one day that you threw down on someone who clearly had no idea that today was NOT THEIR DAY." ~dontcallmeshirley
We're getting shutters and window tint installed today. I think I'm really loving the tint. We were worried it would look too commercial, but it looks like you're looking out of good sunglasses. A bit more gray, but very clear and I can feel the heat knocked down from across the room.
Kind of nervous I won't like the final shutter look since we had to go with the hidden tilt bar (the pole that makes them go up and down) because it would just rattle and be annoying with the trains. They look a bit too modern and don't quite match the shuttered entertainment center. And the white is just a tiny bit more gray than the white of the window frame. But I guess I'll live with it for $1600 over $5000 for totally custom.
